Larry Johnson, Morning, Hill, Penny, T-Mac....those players should be great, but they all destroyed by injure.
I still can't believe T-Mac still play the primary rule in Rockets, that guy can only play 20 mins good game, looks his FG%, that's really really no good....If T-Mac is not in this generation, he would be on bench years ago just like Penny, Mourning, Hill....
yeah, it really sucks especially for grant hill. i remember when he first laced them up for the NBA and he had a bright future but those darn injuries, and T-Mac as well.
I enjoyed your LebronBlitz Bruce. Keep in mind that a athlete's prime is their late 20's (27,28,29)example: Jordan won his first title in 91 he was 27-28 years old...Kobe scored 81 points in '06 he was 27 years old. Just a heads up..."good vids I like".
You just know everyone on the other team was scared when Jordan had the ball at the end of the game, or just scared when Jordan got near the ball in general. It's like watching a D1 college player play with highschoolers, ridiculous.
Bruce I like your vids, but you should check out some of the rare 80s stuff that Hoopsencylopedia posts. Look for the Artistry of Michael jordan, it's truely amazing. Always love seeing your vids!
tha best 2 ever play MJ took over tha NBA as never done be4 but Wilt played against 6'8 centers in his days thats y he had so many points and Wilt was 7'1 275lb tha only center gave Wilt a challenge was Bill Russell and he was 6 '9 1/2 220lb
Just a phenomenal player, UNSTOPPABLE. The NBA bowed down to JORDAN, Jordan was higher than my wildest imagination, just watching him and how he dominated games with his intelligence alone, forget all the athletic stuff, his turn around and his ability to simply rise up and release a silky smooth jumper that hit nothing but the bottom of the net was flawless, I really Loved Michael Jordan.
Thank you bruce for starting this series. I can tell this series and the jordan defense series are gona be my fav. Just watching jordan is amazing, he makes basketball seem effortless, even in a more physical era.
good point...it is also a testament to Pippen's skill though. If Pippen didn't have Jordan, I think he may have one one or two championships. with Jordan, they were just about unstoppable. add the Zen master and his calming ability on Rodman...oh man, it didn't look good
wow, i didn't even know hubie brown did commentary back then? i guess he had a brief stint....he's awesome. i like van gundy a lot too even though he's more for entertainment value, he gives some good insight. mark jackson is trash, lol...still liked him as a player
I think that basketball as a sport was taken more seriously back in the day than today. I still like the NBA of today, but it's become more of a joke now or like what blacknapalm said, "entertainment"
that jumpshot @ 05:11 / 10:00 that right there was worth the price of admission

the runner is one of the most underrated shots in basketball. Not flashy, but if you can connect with consistency, not much can be done...

There's one game posted on youtube, MJ only missed 4 shots, and scored 52 points. That's crazy.

after jordan retired I stop watching basketball... there was no use.
PS: I hated Michael Jordan, but I have to admit it, basketball was fun with him playing.

Most kobe homers have never seen Jordan in his prime which was from 86 to 93. Jordan was a beast. Always attacking the rim. JORDAN=GOAT

That fadeaway shot was the most unguardable thing in basketball. I've seen almost no one block that thing.
avinashkunnath 3 years ago 13
He rarely got that blocked in his prime and usually it was the help defense.

Imagine if Jordan stayed for 1993-1995. Bulls would have won 8 championships in a row and beat Houston in the finals those years.
