  • how awesome does everything look now!!!!

  • Not sure if you have a food dryer for your abundance. But they are great to dry squash.

  • Wow looking good now

  • What's happening in your garden now

  • Your garden is absolutely beautiful. And, abundance is not a drawback. How many people (and food assistance organizations) would NOT be delighted to have the extra? And how right you are regarding "expectations." Nature does not offer us certainties or guarantees. I am continually amazed that so many people are resistant to this wonderful opportunity - yet heartened by the fact that some people (do) recognize its value. And soon - we shall have no choice but to all be doing this...

  • Very nice vid. Good to see another front yard gardener (I am one) putting the idea out there. Keep on!

  • Great job! Very pretty :0) Thanks for sharing

  • next step is to learn how to can so you can enjoy your harvest year long.

  • boy you drink alot of wine lolololol

  • I loved this series! thank you so much for posting!

  • btw... if you want to get rid of the wine labels... just soak them in water and baking soda

  • great garden :) maby try corn next year i did this year and got like 9 cobs so far.

  • I'd love to see a photo of your yard from across the street

  • 2, and the major factor as far as I'm concerned, is the concave bottoms. In an area prone to mosquitoes, the bottoms turn into little pools that hold standing water and turn in to skeeter nurseries. Just some things to consider for those looking to do the same.

    More importantly...GOOD JOB!!!!!!

  • 1, they will hold more heat, and the extra space used is well worth it. (plug the openings with some beeswax tokeep them from filling with water)

  • I hope I am not out of place making a sugestion...as far as the wine bottles go: stacking the bottles is better for a couple reasons.........

  • Oh I didn't put those two videos together! (well 3) this is so much better than the lawn you had!!!

  • Nasturtiums were the most abundant and lasted all season, plus they are edible. The aphids seemed to be more attracted to them then the other plants too.

  • What is the kind of flower that you planted to attract bees?

  • Clovers are also edible. Make tea out of them.

  • Nice job. I am starting a similar project in my front yard this year.

  • As my Grandpa used to say to me, "You done good!" Your pattypan squash plants are huge!

  • I love the wine bottles, makes me laugh but it is such a good idea! I took on wine making as a hobby and my husband brought home about a hundred more than I'll ever need so pretty soon they will be edging my veggie patch! perfect. Thanks for sharing your awesome garden. Peace.

  • Brilliant, great report.

  • This is great that more n more people are gettin used to the idea of food in the front instead of lawn,(time consuming)..its also very therapeutic which is why i love the garden...well done

  • This is inspiring

  • Garden looks great!

  • More people should do this for sure. I got into gardening heavy last yr and I love it. It is relaxing and always something new.

  • So awesome - send me some zuchs! Love seeing from the beginning ... to the end (you will do a 'Harvest' video si?).

  • Great update. I think you're the next Cisco, a milder more feminine version, of course!
