@rh9endless Kinda sounds like its geared for a hill-climb or something. Youd probably get a bit more speed if the engine was loaded a bit longer inbetween shifts.
i have never heard any rb sound like that at idle, incase other people wernt aware there were only 20 hks hi deck kits made, and i beleive they sold for 80,000AUD New!
Its great to see Tuning companys like endless are still around building fast drag cars with the now ' out dated ' generation of gtr's.. on a sad note the step 3 hks hi deck 2.8L motor is wrecked (read it on the endless blob) so i ' think ' they are either maiking a 2.8L kit or stroker kit of thier own or going to the OS Giken 3L kit.. another bit of trivia endless has built more hks hi deck 2.8's than any other tuning company.. and now they're all gone!

who makes the cams for that motor? i know its an HKS motor, but if they are HKS cams, whats the size??

Sounds like they could use some higher gearing. Its almost as if they run out of usable RPM before they shift.
I bet a good set of 3.54 or 3.39 would be lovely.

At a proper drag strip this thing would be a weapon, Central Circuit is a track not a strip, they are racing down the main straight.
Would be interesting to see what kind of times it would run on a well maintained strip, good car.

sometimes i do regret getting a '33 not a '32 but then i go out driving again and am happy with what i have! haha
