I tried by ear to play but goes out badly =( on it decided to play on tabs he it is difficult to play without the original of song . here and decided to ask tabs of your song on that hear as it is played)

nice ... I`ve bought Puck yesterday ... and it`s really hard to start playing harmonica with this model . But was pleasure that it`s nice volumed. Great thing for blues.

I've got one of these and I outstanded at how well it plays, the volume is surprising for its size, with an added microphone on stage it can do very well, and it has a very unique voice which is very very lifting. Indeed larger standard harps give you more pwer and perhaps possibilities, but this guy is an example of it capabilities.

Don't start with this one, buy a good standart size blues harp. F.e. Hohner Golden Melody or Marine Band Crossover

Don't keep your expectations too high... Puck is a nice little harp and lot of fun, but not as usable as "big brothers"

Do you play it in stock form od did you perform any adjustments (proper gapping, arcing...) on it? I bought mine today and it's definitely not easy to play compared to regular ones.

@woro90 I had about 5 pucks, and customized 2 of them. I think this one was not customized, but very playable "out of the box".

@harpsnake That makes sense. They are great little harmonicas and they are so cheap one can afford buying more of them and playing only the better ones. I'm definitely going to buy another one as a spare, I tend to lose harmonicas when drinking with the band so I will use the better one for playing sober and the worse one for getting drunk with a harmonica in my pocket :D

It's just crazy how I thought in the beginning that this was not a hard instrument to be played but now that I bought one just like yours I found out that it's not that simple!

So, please answer my question so that i can imagine the work I have ahead (assuming that we have the same talent, which is not likely because I do believe I suck as a musician!)

been using a old harmonica i found for quite long. i used to have a puck but i spoiled it after putting in my pocket for a long time. a box should be used.

i have not done any bending but i want to try it out. i just bought a silver star honer harp and found out that its very difficult to bend from a website, i did not manage to bend it anyway.

I do know about what can be bend anyway...

most silver stars are quite easy to bend, I had 6 of them, one sucked, others 5 where OK... one harp is as good as 30$ harps, btw.

Sonic88: I've got a Puck, and it sure bends!

Just be careful and try to break it in gently. maybe you should also know that not all the notes are meant to be bent. If you want you can do what addam Gussow says, about opening the harp and kin of slide a paper under the reeds, "soften it". If you want a supper bending experience, buy a hohner marine band deluxe. or even an XB40 if you already know how to bend.

Actually, some may not realize thats a little harder than it may seem because it's on a Puck, which means even the size of the holes have shrunk significantly. Also, those harmonicas are so fragile you couldn't blink at them without the casings flying off.

I personally love them, sux that as far as I know, they come in C & G only. I have about 3 of em lying around that the metal casings just snapped right off & theres no way of gluing em back on so, they will remain useless I guess. Good Work:)
