Even king james is corrupt. Written to appease both Catholics and protestants, a compromise was made. It is imposable to do an accurate translation of any foreign language because some words loose meaning & others change entirely. Why were there christ like gods existing long before "jesus of Nazerath"?

They can say the literal translation, but the say it looses its meaning when put to English. sometimes you can translate the words, but not the message. That is my point. She also speaks perfect Greek and has literally translated things, but in doing so it looses its real meaning. The Greeks have 3 words for the word "love" alone. Nothing can be actually translated from a language into another. I have friends in Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Mexico, France, Germany. Each of them knowing English perfectly well, but there are things they say in their own dialects.

A true human being and a follower of Christ who truly loves the Lord will know when it is time to listen, when it is time to condemn, and when it is time to offer grace and love. @RobertMOdell I am not misinformed about your book. the only way to actually understand your scriptures correctly, is to speak ancient Hebrew, ancient Greek, and ancient Latin. Words do not always translate well. As for the testimony lasting 3000 years time... have you ever heard of mass hypnosis? Besides why are there so many christ like gods that have appeared throughout time? Horus, Ea, Krishna etc. these stories came long before "X". christ is a copy of a copy

However, I can attest being born of the Spirit gives new insights that were not there before. Were there any other "christ"s who lived a holy life, claimed to be the Jewish Messiah, died for the sins of mankind and rose again to life? Only Jesus.

He was crucified by the god set and resurrected on the third day. Krishna of India, the list goes on. each god being born on or about the 25th December of a virgin. the Jews were nomadic tribesmen that took stories from Babylon, Greece, Egypt etc. As for bibles, they may be easy to understand but doesnt mean it is a good translation

They can say the literal translation, but the say it looses its meaning when put to English. sometimes you can translate the words, but not the message. That is my point. If you were so scholarly you would understand that.

@RobertMOdell my Greek friend has a degree from Cambridge University and speaks perfect English. She also speaks perfect Greek and has literally translated things, but in doing so it looses its real meaning. The Greeks have 3 words for the word "love" alone. Nothing can be actually translated from a language into another. I have friends in Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Mexico, France, Germany. Each of them knowing English perfectly well, but there are things they say in their own dialects.

And I also agree it can be more convenient to speak the language where a single word can hold the desired definition. But any meaning can be conveyed by an expression of words. If you are a seriouis student of the Bible you will see the interlinear word "agape" below it. But I already agreed that single-word translations are not always sufficient. The translator does not have to resort to single words however. He could just as easily write "selfless caring" and be spot on.

If you look for gods born on 25 December, you see a huge list. History is crazy? Like the dinosaurs or crazy like;3 gods in one that are one god; or 900 year old men; unicorns; talking donkeys. instead read Grimms fairy tales, at least those stories make sense.

As for other virgin births, it would take me some time to look at those. But what does it matter? The talking donkey was the Lord speaking through the donkey. Whether he was really speaking or it was just a spiritual experience isn't so important to me because it could have been either. The Biblical "unicorn" is a rhino-like creature that is now extinct.

There is one God, who is an omnipresent, Holy Spirit, the Alpha and Omego, the Creator, etc. That one God, being a spirit, can and does manifest Himself in many ways, simultaniously when He so desires (burning bush, talking donkey, Angel, etc). Jesus was the incarnation of God into human form. Jesus was Jehovah in the flesh! Jesus was the Father living in the Son, and forever praised.

A true human being and a follower of Christ who truly loves the Lord will know when it is time to listen, when it is time to condemn, and when it is time to offer grace and love. I for one would look you in the eye and touch your hand although it would be wrong of me to withhold any part of the gospel message - from condemnation through grace.

Jesus said "suffer the children to come unto me" then he continues that anyone that would harm a little one, it would be better for him to have a mill stone about the neck and drowned. "Little Ones" do not necessarily mean children, but could well mean those young in faith. Placards hinder and offend people that may otherwise turn to your hateful god. Salvation means much more than just avoiding Hell fire. It means to be made into perfect holiness and will not be completed until the resurrection. The Gospel must include both the reality of the human condition and the way, truth, and life as it's alternative.
