It appears that it takes more pressure pushing the meat into the grinder with the plunger than forming them by hand with a metal ring. Plus five times the equipment clean up.
I rather like this demo. I almost bought a similar attachment, but wasn't sure. Now I know they work! It looks like this would be easier than by hand when grinding more than 3 pounds at a time.
I guess it would be good if you are doing 200 + pounds of beef a day...That should be around 420 patties a day at around 7 to 8 ounces a patty.. Dam that good money..
Nice video, I assume you used the plastic conical stuffing auger attachment to make your burgers, if so, how does it do pushing the meat vs, the metal griding auger?
Does this fit on a KITCHENAID ARTISAN ???

slow process theres other faster and easier to use equipment for making patties like the one we use at our shop but its still a good product though

i think it would be easier just hand patting them

I think that if I am making a large amount of burgers for storage this works great for uniform burgers and works fast ounce I figured it out.
But for a week night meal hand patting is the way to go.
I was just demoing the product. I think its a good piece of gear if you process your oun game or buy meats in bulk.
