Pretty badass, I'd sell those for huge ass profits or even use it in public if Gambling was allowed lol. Better believe I would be out front of somewhere yelling "ANYONE WANT TO PLAY LUCKY HIT?!"
@Onion15505 Yeah, but postage would be a pretty major factor in selling it online. As for making others.... I dunno, it'd depend on how much it'd sell for.
@iamthepwnerer Well if I ever come across some cash I would very much consider commissioning you :) If you had to make some sort of estimate, how much would you think you'd sell a board for?
@Onion15505 Well, first off I'd have to ask where you live, because international postage of such an item would be rather a difficult thing... but I guess you could tell me what you want, in a board (I mean there's many designs of them on shenmue) and such and I could get back to you on price or you could make me an offer. But if you do feel like commissioning on, just pm me on youtube and we'll see what we can arrange.
@eyezerocool I used an old trolley thing that I had in my house for the wood, and then literally copied the bird design off one of the boards on Shenmue II, traced it out, painted it on the wood, let it dry, got a load of pins, painted the tops yellow, arranged them, made the the win/lose holes and it actually turned out better than I expected it to. Thanks for the comment.
@iamthepwnerer Damn then try a rubber ball. Too bad they dont make miniature ping pong balls. In Shenmue 2 it took like forever untill the marble touched the bottom, i sometimes felt like falling asleep XD Love the painting of the board, looking 100% authentic.

Now take the board, set it up outside your house and yell "Wanna try a game of lucky hit?" to all bypassers.

Or even better, I could do it in japanese...not that people would understand me...but still...I can do it phonetically :D

@fronzel99 I'd love to see a first person view of this. haha

Excellent work, A+++++
I'd maybe try a lighter marble so it takes a bit longer for its way down like in Shenmue.
fronzel99 2 years ago
Ironically, that's the lightest marble I could find. Gravity is a bitch eh? :P

I know, but I think the boards were longer too, in Shenmue II, a rubber ball would be crazy, but I dunno, I'll have to try some different things.
As for the painting, I did copy one of the boards in Shenmue II, so I'm glad you think it look authentic. Thanks.
