Kelly sounds amazing. If she sounds a tap bit hoarse its because as Artist they just dont sing one song and then end the concert. She has probably been singing on stage for like 15min not including the 30mins of warm up that they've done. And God forgive she's just not having a little stage freight! The Lord is using her and she sounds amazing!.

yeah I am a performer and I don't care how much you train you succumb to the elements at times, and the thing is when you are on tour you don't get the option to say I want to rest my voice today.

@kalmstorm81 the key to maintaining the voice is NOT vocal rest only. it is a combination of that & proper technique. the majority of her work is done via belting and that without proper air. she muscles a lot!! she didn't even have a lower register and of course things happen, but when people are paying to see you, you should be disciplined enough to maintain your life so that your instrument is always there.

@kalmstorm81 all instruments vary. that is why one should train to understand their voice completely. many singers try to do quick fixes, i.e. lemon, hot tea, etc., but these things do not work. theater performers do a lot of belting and singing through the week, but proper care keeps them able to hit the notes every time and they normally have more training. overall, i still love kelly. take care of that gift baby!!
