to answer your question...its kinda complicated but simple..afro cuban music came back to congo during the 50's through the playing of afro-cuban popular music on radio and selling of albums, but popular afro-cuban music was created by arsenio rodriguez in cuban whoses grandfather was from congo..the rhythms brought to cuba and from congo and vice versa..
