i have a question; the program you downloaded... ''ntrack......''', did you do that to make computer recognize the piano? thats why you say that we have to downloaded it !? thank you so much!! i will be happy with an answer. because my computer doesnt recognize mi piano (and i have this piano,''wk210') when i connect it with the pc, it is like if i havent done nothing :/
@a8aCOLPLAYa8a You can find instructions on how to connect the Wk210 in the video.
You should be able to select the Wk210 for MIDI input in the box that appears selecting the Preferences command from the Settings menu, then going to MIDI and clicking the MIDI devices button.
I have a question. I didn't receive the card in my box and called Costco but they are not selling the keyboard anymore. I also contacted Casio and they said they don't know about any software. How can I have the registration codes? Thank you in advance! Victoria
I have very simple question and I m sorry that I have not too much information about keyboards. I am going to buy Wk 210 but I want to contribute my rock band with some effects during records. Can I use Wk 210 as a Midi controller? When I went to music store they adviced me to buy Edirol M80 to use samples on Cubase. But I want to play without a computer . I have an idea that I can buy Wk 210 and use it as a midi keyboard. Can I get the samee effort like Edirol 80 with Wk 210? Thanks a lot...
@lnich13 The box should contain a card with instructions on how to download and install n-Track LE and the registration codes to register. If the box didn't contain the card, please contact the Costco store where the keyboard was purchased.
Hey, i have bought the casio wk-210 I have looked everywhere for the registration codes but no sucsess, it would help if you could tell me where it is or what it looked like?, or even if you uploaded a picture of it but you cut out the codes? because i found nothing, i have the manual and everything?
@lnich13 Did you purchase the Wk-210 from Costco? n-Track LE is currently included only in the WK-210 sold from Costco. The box should include a card with the registration codes and instructions to download and install n-Track LE.
Thanks for the help with hooking the keyboard up. That worked great. I'm just having a hard time getting used to midi.
Is there a way to record the sound from my keyboard (including the tones) straight onto my computer? It seems like the +500 tones on the keyboard are useless if you can't record in a non midi format.
P.S. I'm using Windows 7 and I can get the midi keyboard to show up in my computers control panel, it's just not being recognized as a recording device.
@ProductiveADD The Wk-210 should appear as a MIDI input device in the box that appears clicking on the "MIDI Devices" button in n-Track's Settings/Preferences/MIDI box.
If you want to record from the Wk-210 only set the record mode to just 'MIDI' (default is 'Audio+MIDI') in the 'Transport/Record mode' menu.
Thanks for the help setting up, but I can't get it to record the keyboard. I have the keyboards sound coming through the program, but it says I have "no audio input selected"
Also, is it possible to use the "Tones" on the Casio WK-210 in N-Track when recording? There are a couple that I really like...
@ProductiveADD To use the Wk-210 as MIDI output select it as MIDI input AND output device in the Settings -> Preferences -> MIDI -> "MIDI devices" box. Then add a blank MIDI track (right click and select "Add blank MIDI track"), then set the track's output to the Wk-210. Now the MIDI notes you play on the keyboard will go to n-Track (so that you can record them if you want to), then back to the Wk-210 which will play the corresponding sound.
@mapleric The WK-210 box/manual should contain a card with the instructions and registration codes to download, install and activate the n-Track LE bundled software.

Hmm mine never came with n-track. But I got a question. How does the "Sampled Tones" work? Does it let you put custom sounds into the keyboard?

@1mashoman Yes, you can play VSTi with the WK-210 & n-Track. n-Track LE supports VST plugins and instruments.
