don't get me wrong haha... Sublime did a very good version of this song. what got to me was a few people telling me it is a Sublime song and The Descendents covered it!

dude, you're not covering sublime. This is not what we call, an original cover, see? When you cover Blitzkrieg Bop, you're covering the Ramones, not the thousands of other bands that covered that song EXACTLY the same way the Ramones did it. If you played Smoke Two Joints and called it a Sublime cover, I could understand. That cover is much different than the original. However, Sublime actually just played the song the exact same way the Descendents did, with a slightly faster tempo.
