I just got this deck today and fucking love it! The sound quality coming from my old pioneer is amazing, you can even adjust the frequencies to your likeing on both speaker and subs. But you covered pretty much everything good review

So if i get this with just stock speakers for now, and i get a 12" Type R for the back it'll sound alright? if i turn bass down and Sub up? or should i just throw down the money and get speakers..

@MoistFlapsMcPeePee Depends how good your stock speakers are and how much you're willing to spend. But chances are unless you have bose or some premium sound upgrade as a factory option then you might wanna eventually look into some speakers

anyone here have freezing problems?? i just bought one, and it freezes. it will play through like 3 songs then jus freeze up the ipod screen, and wont play any music.. but i can switch it over to radio? then when i switch it back it doesnt play. i have to like take out my ipod, turn off the radio then sync it back ? any one who can help plz msg me i would apperiate it :) ?>

Hey you said for a quick sound upgrade it would be good? Im working with a great premium quality bmw e30 stock sound system (no aftermarket subs) but have been using a cheap 100$ sony explode head unit....my question is will this guy actually improve the sound quality of my stock system.. thanks man great vid

my ida x303 was installed but the little led screen won't light up any reaons you guys think? if i put a flashlight on it i can see the screen and it works, it's just not illuminating, the blue buttons on the left all illuminate though

i want this ida-x303 or the CDA-9886....i wanted the x303 at first but then i noticed it doesn't play cds...so i kind of backed off it...even though i rarley have cds in my car i like the option to play them lol...any suggestions?

Idk...I have looked. Try looking through the CD that came with it. I sold my computer so I cant look through it. Let me know if you figure it out though.

Ooh My audi is very rare model of the 100 typ44 1990. A4 2.8 V6 quattro - this is your car ! :) They are very good , fast - awesome !!! So buy it :).

I was reading that it cuts off iPhone/iPod Touch's sound for about half a second sometimes, almost like a disc skipping? Can you confirm whether this happens or not? Thanks!

Well me and a friend have this stereo and we have never had a problem with it. My aftermarket Kenwood stereo had a CD player in it and with One 12" I got that to skip. My guess is that maybe there is a loose USB connection in the back, or maybe just a faulty stereo from Alpine. Thanks

@TheBassWagon Yeah it works so much better than my factory + FM transmitter. Is there a way that you know of to change the button color? I heard it was red/blue but I see no option.

I cant say that I know for sure. I have been looking for that same option of changing the color, but I havent been able to find it either... I would say check the disc that your stereo came with.

I've ordered my IDA-X303 few weeks ago and the unpaid duty is waiting for me. I hope they won't charge me much.

Well if you are going to be amping them, go with some component speakers, like the Alpine Type R components, or the Alpine Type S component door speakers. Both of them sound REALLY good. My friend had the Type S components in his car, and people thought that his subwoofer was on! If you are not going to amp them, I would then recommend getting some Alpine Type S Coaxial speakers with the built in tweeters. They can run off of the IDA-X303 with no amp needed. I hope this helped!

Cool! I would recommend while you have the door panels off to run the wires, so in case you do want to amp them up later, the work is already done for you. Send a video, or some pics when your done so you can show off your work! Have fun!
