50 cent is still relavant. If you can sit there and make a comment about him, it sayz a lot. Funny how haters always are judging someone else and can speak on things they cant relAte too. How you gonna tell a man who has had million dollar deals about what hes doing wrong? You cant relate so you hate. Thats what hate is.
he's no business man... alll the shit he's tried to do on his own hasn't been successful... all the shit he did back in the day wasn't his work... it was someone else using his fame for there gain! After the vitamin water (which again wasn't his idea or his invention) what has he invented that has made him that much money? look at his new album NO ONE BUYS HIS SHIT!
must be a great feeling when you can make millions and billions off of child/slave labor, I mean that's how it's made almost 100% of the time, you don't become filthy rich by clipping coupons and getting paid time and a half
google suicide nets, watch "the corporation, or walmart:the high cost of low price" and see the truth
I'm a moderate fan of 50's music but I admire him as a business man and hustler more than almost anyone. He is totally fearless, adaptable, enterprising and independent. The 50th law is a great book and I found it only when I actively tried to research 50, not as an artist but as an entrepreneur. The more you find out about him the more you realise that everything he raps about: from his fortune, to his violent past, to his insatiable hunger, is real and not exaggerated at all. A great man.
50idddy is a marketing genius with my mind I would love to have a conversation with him if it could be a dialogue it would be a very interesting conversation! very provocative and compelling!
I think both Jay-z and 50cent are brilliant business men they've had the discipline to contain self-control to build to a level of excellence bravo for once someone is 'getting it' I admire their mind state on business and their intelligent approach to the ideas of what they do!
EMINEM AND CASH MONEY SET- UP 50CENT TO NOT CAME OUT WITH HIS ALBUM SO NICKI CAN COME AS NUMBER 1 CAUSE 50 CENT FT LIL KIM ON MAGIC STICK FROM- <3 ALWAYS KEEPING IT REAL <3
AND 50 CENT IS WITH SHADY RECORD FROM- <3 ALWAYS <3 FEELL FREE TO COPY PASTE THIS AND PASS THIS MESSAGE..
haha 50 cent is a smart self promotor. He self promotes himself, positions himself in a powerful postion where people want to work with him and then all the business stuff/investing is more done by other things. he just focuses on appearing smart, it is alll part of the marketing
the pop-ups say 50 Cent is the 2nd highest paid rapper of all time, Jay-Z being the 1st. this is incorrect. Master P, believe it or not, is worth more than either of them. hard to believe but it is true. just an FYI.
Racist remarks aside, 50 cent is a really smart man. His comments on piracy were really down to earth and based in reality, and he seems to have a "real" perspective on marketing.
This was a good interview. 50 was really impressive, but I think its very important for us to recognize that guys like 50cent & Jay-Z shouldnt be looked upon as role models. These are the same guys that admitted to selling poision on the streets in their own communities.
I think its possible for us to appreciate the success of these men without saying the way they went about it is the model we should be following.
@SLICENSLASH The skills and instincts 50 honed hustling crack helped him succeed in the music business. He had to know how to make alliances, foil rivals and reach out to customers. You don't have to deal in drugs to get this, just any chaotic high-pressure environment where you must struggle and connive as hard as you can to survive.
you can see that 50 Cent aka Curtis James Jackson III is not used to wearing a suit and tie. Still, with this book he'll be remembered for generations to come in libraries and not as another hip-hop singer.
whats interesting to me is that the interviewers are obviously impressed with him and his fortune. and at the end, they're like "you're a great guy!" -- which he probably is.
however, 50's career kinda revolves, lyrically speaking, around the notion that he kills people and has avoided being killed. and i'm probably speaking more about his older records, considering the change in his surroundings in the last decade.
but if its true, i wonder if those interviewers think about that at the time
