so helpful! I've been looking for a way to extend my free edge w/o gluing on tips. I'm allergic to acrylic so now I want to use gel. it's such a different consistency than acrylic so i feel like i have to relearn all these techniques.

is it possible for gel to be lifted like acrylic?

I do acrylic on my nails and it always lift a bit near cuticle area.

I'm a self-taught as I learn from tutorial videos and from my own mistakes.. but I do everything I know and it still happen T^T

and I hate monomer's smell so I think I'm gonna go for gel system

@iH3ARTBKK Whether it's gel or acrylic, proper preparation is the key. Also, be sure you don't get the product (gel or acrylic) on the cuticle. This can cause lifting. Hope this helps!

@punkbunny35 No such thing as a silly question. The pointer side is used to remove calcium build up around the cuticle. Be careful with it tho!
