I saw Mahler's 4th + 5th at a BBC Proms concert yesterday conducted by Gergiev! It was a great concert! Both pieces were amazing! But I enjoyed no.5 so much! It is has become one of my favourite pieces ever, and Mahler has become one of my favourite composers!
I love all your selections!!!

The shorter, original "adagietto" from his 5th has grown on me.

@dannooll Sort of... it's "Bruder Martin", which is more or less Frere Jacques but in a minor key (and with different lyrics).

Isn't 'Frera Jacka' a French version of 'Three blind mice'?

Who are the performers of each symphony?

The funeral march sounds like an arrangement of 3 blind mice.
