Watch Out!!! Teach or at least inform your Managers espcially the new Store Manager at Seafood City Mira Mesa Branch. Labor Law in United States is different in the Philippines. If one or more employees complaint to the Department of Labor regarding her actions towards her subordinates, you guys will be in a possible lawsuit! I heard her shouting at her employees when I was in her store shopping. You guys don't want to be in a settlement case.

Not all the employees of SFC are rude. Maybe they are becoming rude for those customers who are also rude on them. Kasi minsan Filipino pa yung nambabastos sa kapwa Filipino. Baka kulang din sa tulak from the management kaya nakakalimutan na magsmile kung minsan. To the management, why not give them the appropriate boast like a "salary raise,maybe?"

I think you need to know what is "customer service means". This is all about how you treat customers (rude, nice or prejudice people). This is how you promote your business to attract customers ,,not to scare them away. It's a big challenge to a business owners how he/she handles difficult situations (such as rude, nasty, and unhappy customers etc). Remember it's the customers who judge you (not you judging customers). Listen and that's how you improve your service to them.

Yes, the cashiers at Seafood City (& most other Filipino grocery stores) are rude. They definitely need customer service training. As a Filipino-American, I feel ashamed- baka isipin ng mga tao na lahat ng mga pilipino ay ganon!

TRUE. Shocking experienced at Goldilocks Restaurnat SAn Diego. Waitress handed me napkins and forks by whistling (PSST) and hitting my shoulder with fork then left with no words. Very unprofessional and rude. As an american Pinoy you always expect the best of Pinoy but where is it? What do you expect to Pinoy Service? RUDENESS. NO TIP for bad service.

I go to Seafood City in Mira Mesa and National City, San Diego CA. almost every week. 95% employees are filipinos. Cashiers are all Pinay. Are these cashier have any customer service training? They don't smile, they don't say Hi! hello! or thank you! they look mad, angry, sad, sick. You only see them smile when they gossipwith their co-cashiers Only in filipino stores. These ladies needs a customer service training the American Style. They need to learn how to smile &

Maybe they don't know how to express themselves in english. If they will say "Hi or Hello" the customers expect more from them, you know ,communication. So they just keep mum or quiet rather than opening their mouth to say more.
