Just use ear cleaners. those white things with puffy ends. cut off one puff and gently hammer in a sewing needle. much more cost effective and IMO its better. have one in my ceiling and I'm waiting for it to fall. oh and its been there for 2 years :P

Try this, get a plastic Qtip, cut it in half.Take 1 half and put a stitching needle in it. Heat up the plastic with a lighter untill the needle gets fused to it. put it in a straw to shoot.

i found it very useful to use a long metal skinny pipe< accurate up to 23 feet and it sure goes fast!!! Also, you dont have to use the hard part at the end of a shoelace all the time, you can also just use a piece of the shoe lace and it works incredible as well! Overall this video was easy to learn from and it was made very well!

i found a much better blow dart. i bought a metal 7-11 slurpee straw(.89 cents) and then bought a small container full of about 100 tacs(.99 cents). ive found out that if u shoot the tacs out uf the straw the tacs will fly about 30 feet

(i shot my moms car wen it was in the driveway from my room window which is on the second floor and it scratched it).

the tacs will pierce:skin,week plastic,drywall,cardborad, and theyll go thru paper.

I've made these before and they work real good. Very fun to shoot boxes with. I don't make them often anymore because they make the end of the shoelace (aglet) so tight that its extremely hard to fit a needle in it. I've experimented with it before and you can soak the aglet in water to loosen it but it is still hard to get through so i get it as far as i can then cut the aglet in half and clip off the end of the needle so it doesn't poke you in the mouth when you shoot it off. It works good.
