Sorry but you are wrong; FOTC's song "Inner City pressure" is just a parody of the genre of 80's electronic/syth bands bands such as Pet Shop Boys and Ultravoz.

Play "Inner City pressure" and "West End Girls" back to back and you will note that they are two quite different songs that just share the same dead-pan style of delivery.
