About Tarja's and Simone's voices:

there are two diferent voices and Vocal Tecniques, Tarja is Pure Clean Lyric voice. Simone use the Colocation of Lyric.. it's very hard to do what Simone do with her voice! I would not choose whats better or more beautyful. Both sing perfectlly Well.. Simone's voice it's as much UNIC as Tarja's, its only that we can compare between.. they are unic.

You don't see/listen nothing close of their sound.

Good vocals are about preparing properly for a show, calculate your stage time well and knowing your limits, everyone can have a bad day, but at least in this song simone never hits that note live, don't get me wrong she's still a very good singer, she just pushes too hard beyond her vocal range...
