can anyone tell me why they discontinued or stopped making wax packs

they're too easy to open, search, and reseal. if you were going to buy wax packs to keep (or open) make sure they're graded

oh, you get the whole pack, I thought you were just throwin in random cards from each pack, yea i have seen an old tobbaco pack go on ebay for over 15000 dollars, but I do like vintage cards and would like more vintage wax packs.

kinda a rip off, psa commons are not worth that much, even 9, it is a crap shoot in these things and 98 bux is too much for a crapshoot

Certainly no rip off but of course any unopened rip will be a crapshoot. You can look at Ebay completed sales and see that many many times commons in PSA 9 will sell for $50-250 as it just depends on the pop report. The hope is of course that several people get more than just commons! Pulling the Mantle from the 66T pack would be a crapshoot to be sure...but if you like vintage cards would be well worth the $98 in my opinion. I understand it's not for everyone though and that's fine.

just saw a 71 common (nate colbert) psa 9 go for 250 bucks on ebay..
