I lived on Bangsak beach for four years and never saw anyone eat ants. Its a place rich in seafood and a popular destination for picnicing Thais. I'm not sure where they filmed this--maybe back around Takuapa --- but it does not look like home to me. He is very stupid and rude to the Thais by the way.
