The manga is a little better than this, but this is one of my favorite mecha animes, and its not full of mecha cliches either plus the animation is some of the best I have seen recently.

I'm not a fan of mecha anime at all, I usually tend to stay far away from them.. but I gave this a try and I'm happy I did. The story and the plot itself is so enduring and the characters draw you in, you completely forget about the "mecha" part even though its blatantly in your face.

Tengo entendido que este es la apertura no de una serie de TV sino de una pelicula u OVA o algo asi, que van a sacar otra cada largo tiempo (en meses) y creo que esta es una muy buena nueva forma de desarrollar en anime un manga, parecida a lo que estan aplicando de nuevo con evangelion solo que las de este son peliculas y se transmiten en el cine por lo tanto; en cambio las OVA´s de "Broken Blade" (que el manga creo que se llama: "Break Blade") esta no se si se transmitiran en TV o en cine...

I only read about this today and it got my attention, the opening sure managed confirm my curiousity. The music has a mysterious sound to it which forces me to watch, perhaps very soon :)

@Hayaibo it is a VERY good mecha anime ova. i highly recommend it.

it moves off away from the current cliche of mecha 'transforming. mecha shaped like women, super one hit kill attacks', it tries to be realistic, some of it is, some of it isn't.

@necroshade1234567 I don't think you understand the mecha genre very well. Some properties are intended to be pseudo-realistic, while others purposely evade realism to appeal to different sense of entertainment.
