Thats the first 4.0 Ive ever seen die. My buddies 88 XJ had 243k miles on the engine when he sold it and still ran great.

I had 489k miles on my xj motor before it died finally and it didnt have 1 single easy day i beat the hell out of it now new motor and the only thing i have ever replaced on my jeep now is engine and a few u-joints and berrings. what now!! no shit

NOT! ha. my '98 xj has something like 155,000 miles on it. still runs as fine as the day it left the factory, i guarantee it. ;)
