Please, Bush has been horribly disrespectful to foreign leaders, starting with Kim Dae-jung in the first months of his presidency to Hu Jin-tao just a few months ago. Spare me your pieties about respect and virtue.

Expressing valid and extremely important concerns for what Americans and innocent civilians die for and what has to do with the future of the world we have, is rude? Don't think you get the concept of Democracy. Bush has shown utter contempt for the people and the Constitution. When he is responsible for failures and criminality like this, politeness is for suckers and authoritarians who don't mind tearing upthe world as long as they can be on the winning team.

I'm not a Bush fan. I am, however, a Utahn. I heard the WHOLE speach, not just this clip. I think Rocky was in VERY POOR TASTE to stand there and bash the President right before his visit to Utah. He has every right to his opinion, as does anyone, but there is a time and place. This was diliberate disrespect. There are better ways to handle things! As a Utahn, I am continually embarassed by Rocky. He really could have picked a better time for this. What blatent disrespect and childishness.

I respectfully disagree. It took guts for Rocky to give this speech. Democrats need to start standing up to Bush. And just curious, what "better ways" do you have in mind? Bush and his administration constantly use and abuse their position for political gain. This wasn't for political gain. It was to help spread the truth. By the way, I'm PROUD to be a Utahn for a change!

I never said that his speach was true OR false.
By "better ways" I mean that it's just plain wrong to do something like this RIGHT when Bush visits Utah. It seems plain RUDE, even if I do agree with some of what he says.

During Bush's visit is exactly the apropriate time to make a speach like this! I didn't see anything rude about it. If I wanted to tell Bush off, I'd rather do it to his face than behind his back! If he came up to me, President or not, I'd tell him to Fuck himself! (just like VP Cheney told Senator Lehey on the floor of the senate!)

The way this administration has done business is to discount and fire any of those who disagree. So blind and singled-minded their purpose, they never considered failure, Bush never had a plan B for Iraq. Bush put our soldiers in this position and has increased world-wide terrorism and weakened our military and you say that it's in 'poor taste' to speak out? What country do you live in? China?

In case you didn't notice, elected officials work for US. They serve the PEOPLE. Bush, however, has failed to do either of those, and therefore deserves no respect. The Declaration of Independance says "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government" It is our responsibility as Americans to protect the constitution and our country.
