I see NO evidence that Joan was drunk. None. And as for her being "scary," she threw herself into every role and played it to the hilt. This role was no exception. I HATE how some people just trash a star of five decades who was nothing but kind to her fans. She was the true definition of a STAR.

haha, it is true about Joan being drunk. Can't be 100% certain she was during this scene, but she did use to keep bottles/flasks of 151 vodka on set....especially as she got older :)
