I still got this game, I actually never knew anything changed each time you play. I really wish some developer would make a modern game style Bladrunner, closest cyberpunk game recently would bw HardReset but of course it's a totally different type of game. They just don't make cyberpunk games like they used to
I was thinking that you should play a game like L.A. Noire, a hard-boiled detective game set in past. Then you play Bladerunner, a hard-boiled detective game set in the not so distant future. Yet the one set in the past is recent, and the one set in the future is old?! This is confusing and weird.
I wonder if there's a PC version of Soul Reaver (Legacy of Kain series). It's an old game for ps1, which was amazing. I remember it so much from my childhood. It would be a cool LP for.
@MrTopHatZombie There was a version for PC, but umm... what does that have to do with this LP? And I honestly doubt that Sven would LP that game, given that he exclusively plays point-and-click adventure games (except for Dreamfall, which is pretty much 90% point-and-click). Soul Reaver is a straight-up action game. A game like that is more the domain of Helloween4545 or someone similar.
@MrJackHagan Well he did do Uru, but i see your point. It's just that Soul Reaver is a game of that time period (Myst, Longest Journey, and others). So where can i get the PC version?
I'm rather mystified by the graphics in this game. Compared to it's contemporaries, like Fallout, it's not even comparable. From what I've seen so far, it appears to have even better graphics than The Longest Journey, which came out three years later! It would appear that these guys were well ahead of their time. Never seen any of this game, but as always, am looking forward to your Let's Play. You always give us the most intelligent, comprehensive playthroughs, Sven. Cheers!
Nice addition, this game was a real feast for eyes and ears, i remember playing this one straight to the end in one shot. Westwood at this time was a nice bunch of talented ppl.
They were a lots of different ending, and random changes each time you start the game...but never played it more than 2 times.
Never read the book but I did see the movie years ago. I don't remember much of it but I think I liked it. I actually didn't know there was a game bassed off it.
This is the game that got me into borh Philip K. Dick and my favorite move Blade Runner. Such and awesome game. I just replayed it a while ago after finally getting it to work on Win 7 but still had some problems, either way I was able to beat it again, though I've yet to get the ending with Lucy that I've always tried. Can't wait to see how it plays out for you.
You actually don't need any background information to see how heavy a crime has been committed here. Just the term animal "murder" is enough to make You understand.
Oh, God, I can't believe it! One of my favourite LPers decides to take on a game that I've always wanted to see! That's great, and a real (wonderful) surprise as well!
I love this game. I bought it when it came out, and I always keep its box in the first drawer of my work desk. Every once in a few years I get the urge to revisit it. I'm ashamed to admit that I know many of the spoken lines by heart :)
What a great surprise, Dilandau3000! Thanks for this LP.
You're playing the game that introduced me to the scene of games. I remember I loved this game, and I also love the movie. You play so many games I've had fun with, I hope this LP will be a good one. :D
This looks so awesome. Thanks for LPing it @_@
