People buy a phone for calling , browsing and LIGHT GAMING. If i want a portable game console i would get one ( PSP , DS , etc. ). The interface is just ... not for a phone ( where the hell are my icons ? O_O ).

Please Microsoft , learn from your own fuckups ( KIN ) and make a phone , not a allin1 zune , littleXbox and bigger KIN mashup.

@torrasque2007, When you have as much money as Microsoft have you're allowed to make mistakes, because every so often they come back with something even better. Yes they made bad decisions but at the end of the day they own the cloud and gaming arena, they will monetise the hell out of this phone and it's integrated services and make it a success. Give it time and you will see, your opinion on what users want is far from the truth. It's not the phone but the experience and level of integration.

As i recall those two shared a similar interface and the intergration with social services and user accesibility was excelent.

Don't get me wrong please!! I worship Microsoft and i think that they have a good ideea entering the phone market, but i just don't understand why they remain with a OS look and feel that failed them already ?

@torrasque2007 The reason that Kin failed is because of lack of apps and overpriced plans on verizon's part, which neither are problems for windows phone 7. I think windows phone 7 actually has a good chance in competing in mobile space, provided that microsoft can release updates and innovate fast enough

This is great. I love how MS are integrating everything. I already use Windows Live extensively:- Hotmail, Live Calendar, Messenger etc.. Having all this integrated in a phone is truly innovative.

No one else has progressed this far. As for Apple, meh, it's just a collection of separate apps - there's no seamless integration there at all!

@Schirmatilen Ok im an android user and i use all things google. But iPhone does offer seamless email setup and an overall nice service. Also when games centre gets launched then things will shape more.

@LifesHavoc sorry dude.. Apple really does not have a chance to compete at least for my needs there is nothing better than full integration across Microsoft broad swath of services and software. Apple cannot compete with Microsoft's platform approach to integrated services. Apple knows this and that's why they're trying to make a games hub.

@LifesHavoc You're a waste of time. Yes you are right there will only be little games like Scrabble, Uno, etc. but you cannot do that on an iPhone. You can play games like that but it will not integrate with XBL. You cannot earn achievements etc. Also you can't send messages from that app to your friends. It just opens a page in safari and loads xbox.com where you have to login and then you can send your friends messages.
