  • ive seen the show, and it inspired me to become a dolphin trainer, the dolphins at georgia aquarium are well taken care of and whoever thinks this is cruel, your stupid. dolphins should be out in the wild, i agree with that, but these dolphins were all rescued for a reason. they have a wonderful home at the aquarium.

  • I was there. The Dolphin Show is kind of cool:)

  • @ hynosisracing -Just horrible how you "humans?" write to each other. If you ran the country we would be annihilated. You could say "Friends, I would like to let you know that ..., but no you take the lower road. Garbage in (the brain) garbage out (of the mouth).

    Personally, it's beautiful.

  • Watch The Cove. That's all I've got to say. Poor dolphins :(

  • I am excited about coming to see the aquarium. From what I have heard it is awesome!

  • It is simply baffling to me that some of you people view this as anything but fantastic for both the people who visit the aquarium AND the animals themselves...before another one of you PETA thumpers come in here and staring yapping about something you haven't the FIRST clue about, go find out the story about these dolphins, come into the convo with some legitimacy instead of blind assumptions.

It's purely disgusting that some of you speak with ZERO knowledge of what you're speaking about.

  • I live in new Jersey too! and the owner of my favorite aquarium lived in New Jersey thats so cool

  • Um am i the only one that noticed that the fish tank is 20x bigger than the dolphin one?

  • @ShamuGuy42 That would be because the fish tank houses multiple whale sharks. There's no way that tank wouldn't make the others look tiny in comparison just given it's so huge.

  • I`ve been to the aquarium 5 or 6 times! And I love the Georgia Aquarium also dolphins!!!=)

  • Thank you GA Aquarium for bringing Dolphins. Finally bringing these close to were people can learn first had about these great animals and learn about them and their sea animal friends. Yes, you rescue, you EDUCATE, you research, you make a difference. There is SO much still to do and your input in my life and others that listen are concern about our oceans, our animals, fisheries , etc. We need more aquariums and people caring for what this world is all about. Thank you, thank you , thank you.

  • Making $56k a show isn't about conservation or education, it's about greed. Greed at the expense of a intelligent, beautiful animal. It doesn't matter where they come from, it is cruel and selfish to keep an animal like a dolphin in a small environment. These animals are born to swim 40 miles a day, can't do that in a fish tank. If you really love them, love them enough to give them up. You know why the spend so much money on healthcare for them? Because they're usually very stressed and sick f

  • ill be there April 2nd

  • Planning years ahead? I think Bernie Marcus needs to run for office.

  • You moronic idiots do realize these dolphins were ALL rescued and brought here correct? And that the aquarium spent hundreds of thousands of dollars just in health care for these animals? You're a group of uneducated pieces of worthless garbage...and those of you speaking against it...what have YOU done for these animals in your entire lives? Thats what I thought...

  • @hypnosisracing ^^ +1

  • @hypnosisracing Your the uneducated one, dolphins in captivity IS wrong if they are rescued the should be rehabilitated and realesed back into the ocean where the were meant to be. They wouldn't have to spend as much money as they do if they returned them and it's not costing them any thing cause they make all the money back exploting the dolphins. And what have YOU done form them?

  • @neonher I've done nothing for them, but im also not sitting here bitching about people who spend their entire LIVES helping these animals, day in and day out. They rescued these dolphins which would never SURVIVE in the wild, why is that so hard for some of you to understand? These animals would die almost instantly in the wild because they were treated so badly before, and now they have a chance at a life that is healthier and better for them, rehabilitating them and educating the public.

  • @hypnosisracing Where do you think they get these dolphins from, most of these animals are taken from the ocean by fisheries who just want to sell them for lots of money, do you have any type of education on the subject to be calling other ignorant. the dolphins trainers tech the how to do tricks from food and to entertain humans not for educational purposes. and the dolphins that are injured can almost always be relaesed back into the wild where they belong.

  • @neonher Reading comprehension is not your strong suit im learning. These are RESCUED dolphins! These specific dolphins at the aquarium were rescued from a bad scenario and brought to our aquarium for rehabilitation and health care...the GA Aquarium didn't just go out to a fishery to get them, i dont know how to make that more clear for your very obviously thick skull kiddo! Take your silly agenda else where, arguing with you is both moot and useless because you are blinded by your agenda. Cya.

  • @hypnosisracing You clearly have the same problem cause as I had said, most dolphins can be rehabilitated and put back into the wild, I got that they were rescued but chances are that if they couldn't be put back into the wild they shouldn't be under the stress of performing and I wasn't specifically talking about the Georgia Aquarium but all of the marine parks and aquariums in general. And to anyone who is actually educated on the subject and not ignorant it's not a silly agenda.

  • We can learn a lot about the animals and the status of the ocean by studying and working with these marvelous creatures! I'm so excited and cannot wait to see what else you guys have in store. Keep up the great work, GAI! You're awesome!

  • @BerserkLigerZero9 These dolphins didn't come from the wild at all. They're captive born dolphins from Marineland in Florida.

  • @HTHAMMACK1

That is such a relief for me, I was so worried about the whole Taiji dolphin thing. Thank you so much for clearing that up. :)

  • @BerserkLigerZero9 Not every dolphin comes from Japan. The dolphins at Georgia Aquarium could have been brought from other marine parks. Either from the wild or captive breed.

  • @BerserkLigerZero9 None of these dolphins are from Japan. They're from other parks in the US,mostly captive born because bottlenose dolphins actually do perfectly fine in human care and breed quitnormally.

I watched the cove,it was boring, because the stuff that was'nt made up i already knew, and trust me,there is alot of made up stuff.

  • That dolphin stadium looks beautiful

  • you guys rock! i'm super excited!
