  • MOTHERBOARD SOUNDS LIKE THIS

  • those sounds are the data reading files inside shell32.dll. Windows files are all- resource/file rich, so if you want more sounds like this just go to C:\WINDOWS then youre inside your copy of Windows.

  • Some guy at MS should put a rickroll in the next shell32.dll.

  • 0:26 Help! My car won't start! 1:37 Engine blew up 1:56 Opening up the bonnet 2:03 Car alarm activated 2:08 Tow truck arrives 2:46 Car being put on the tow truck 3:00 Calling the car repairers

  • The audio language MS uses to communicate with aliens is revealed...

  • 2:30 Awesome chord!

  • So this is how they invented Dub-step lol

  • i'd rather listen to this for a day than listen to a justin beiber song!

  • imageres.dll when my brother changed like a dumbass he took the oringinal PC VISTA images with him and ive read post and stuff like that and i was told the computer crashes after reboot and when i try to change the name or try to install a new one it says i need permission but im admin so i try to rename it and it says that and i rename it and nothing happens HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

  • lmao

  • That much for reverse engeneering! :D

  • @Bluedino549 I hope MS won't sue me for that.)

  • @TheKeaper Heh, I guess they'd rather sue the one being able to code it from listening, the hire that guy.

I am currently trying to listen to win.exe and command.com from Windows 98. The Voice of Windows and DOS itself. :D

  • But anyone knows why?

  • @wdowa94 It's resources inside the dll (icons, images etc.) that make repeating patterns. Shell32.dll is rich for resources, so I chose it for the experiments.

  • @TheKeaper i've got ask for you, if you are informatican... To hear every algoritm, i've should set ,,rendering" in 8bit and mono, or let set rendering automaticly? I can see big deferences between 8 and 16 bit, and mono and stereo

  • @wdowa94 I've tried different combinations. The best results are when you use low frequency (8 kHz or less, otherwise it'll be too fast and sound like noise), 8 bit depth (the sound gets a little electro/industrial style), and stereo mode (it's just interesting). Just try and experiment with different modes. Let me know if you find really good ones. =)

  • This is so epic!

  • brb making ytpmv

  • this is awesome

+1 internets to you, good sir

  • @kingcrimson234 thank you, I'll use that wisely.

  • how the fuck did you get it going in stereo? sounds awesome ^_^

  • @Snapper4298 Thank you! I just chose "stereo" when opening the file (there are tons of options of how to intrerpret the raw data, so interesting results are result of experimentation, and luck I guess =).

  • I wish my old dial-up modem sounded like this!

  • @Spikehead777 I guess there may exist some custom drivers/firmware for modems, that allow for playing arbitrary sounds/music through modem speaker. It's just another speaker, after all.)

  • @TheKeaper Yeah, but I don't have dial-up anymore. =/

  • Fucking cool

  • @SpiroGames Thanks!

  • @SpiroGames Thanks!

  • well i liked it.

  • @09fod Nice to hear that.)

  • примерно на 35 секунде прикольный звук

  • @sheII32 ЗОМГ со мной говорит виндовая dll-ка!!

  • @TheKeaper круто, правда?

  • Too fast, it's much more enjoyable if the speed is dropped down! It's is way too fast!

  • @randomforum Alas, it's the lowest speed I could get with SoundForge. There are still a lot of interesting patterns anyway.)

  • @TheKeaper Yes, indeed, but try out Audacity 1.3 BETA, there you can drop your speed almost live. Open file in RAW mode.

  • @randomforum Thanks, I'll try that out.

  • буксует много

  • @viktorkva Ага, есть такое дело. В большинстве файлов вообще только белый шум и чуть-чуть интересностей в конце.

  • ...or sing

  • That is how decepticons should talk!

  • @knyazev92 I hope Mr. Bay has taken that into account for the upcoming movie.)
