the production made the vocals sound or "fit" better on of malice. they were clearer and fit with that dark euphoria sound on that album. the lyrics seem more hard hitting and deeper on of malice and i like that a little better as well.

idk. i thought jesse was the same way. they made him sound better by having his vocals on both the right and left channels. i think jesse is a better lyricist than karl. but karl is way more powerful and clearer sounding, especially on controller.

That's correct. Misery Signals old vocalist, Jesse Zaraska, was the vocalist of Compromise and survived the accident.

Your age does matter. When I state an obvious opinion about a guys lack of stage presence, it's from seeing many a band in my time. Sure his voice in great, the band is still great, he just seems unsure of himself, he looks awkward. I've seen this band over 18 times, most of which was when they still had their original vocalist Jesse. See, I'm from Edmonton, Alberta. I know the whole story first hand, I'm a critic of what happened after.  I bet you have no idea what I'm even talking about.

You are right. Misery Signals is amazing, age don't matter. I'll tell you though, keep supporting bands like Misery Signals. It's rare when you find heart in music anymore. I saw it when Compromise had their loss, it put my city in a trance for years. Misery Signals brought us out of the funk we were in, although Jesse moved on to Sleeping Girl, I still think of this band as Compromises' voice. If you don't know what I'm talking about, Google it. The said men died in, if I'm not mistaken, a car crash where they were hit by a drunk driver, correct?

Jesse then moved on to Misery Signals, and wrote a song called The Year Summer Ended In June in memory of Jordan and Daniel.

I know the story, and even though I am in no way directly involved in any of this, I get chills when I listen to that song.

sometimes acting like a goofball on stage makes a good, upbeat presence on stage...Arsonists Get All the Girls is another band where the singer acts goofy on stage, and its pretty cool...i havent seen this band live, but i wouldnt say his stage presence is horrible
