  • what kind of camera

  • thatz great video dude I have also CX2@FlyCamOne2 and I wanna try it :-)

  • thatz great video dude I have also CX2@FlyCamOne2 and I wanna try it :-)

  • That's only about 150 feet maybe less.

  • Could have you gone higher with the cx2 if you wanted? What would happen if it lost transmitter signal at that height - would it just hover or fall out of the sky? I am curious to know if I could do this with my mcx2.

  • @AVincent2 i had my mcx2 about 80 ft one time, it gets so tiny at that height u start losing site of it before it goes out of range, just try walking like a 100 ft away from it and see if it loses radio... mine has never lost radio and i just use the stock transmitter

  • @AVincent2 The CX2 has a failsafe that lets you preset the throttle when it loses signal!

  • epic.

  • Nice flight. I have had mine up around a 100 feet or so. Worried about a gust of wind. I just installed a fiber boom kit from Boomtown Hobbies. When the weather gets a bit better, going for more.

  • Props for this video, really nice Thehump

  • What type of cam did yo use? And how heavy?

  • I was wondering if this helicopter would work with the go pro camera (167 g). Anyone knows? Thanks.

  • to heavy, even with the best batteries. I just order a AR-600 receiver with a DX7 Transmitter to get the distance I want. I think the stock receiver and transmitter is a bit low underpowered for this heli's capabilities. You woul think E-Flite would come out with a bigger version of the CX2.

  • miley cyrus dvd £15

    vaseline £1.50

extra large box of tissues 99p

the look on the cashiers face when you pay for it all priceless

  • what da wasen't this supposed to bee 300 ft

  • Duh. It izzz doood

  • it should of been

"fly bar, hub, inner shaft" = $18.50

"Ripping Out Dash Cam on my Police Car and gluing it to my RC Heli" = Priceless !!

  • Yeah, they might get a little aggravated with that one, lol.

  • ipod nano would work perfect to video tape it

  • I have a nano and was wondering that. Is it stong enough?

  • Im sure it'd be perfect if you strapped on there good using some electrical tape. The video quality would be good for youtube, 640x480

  • Nice flight. Stay Safe.

  • w0w...a cop..but nice flying....

  • I WOULD SHIT if i lost control and flew ina treee

  • i did that yesterday in my pasture with mine, then a gust of wind came and i lost control, but i crash landed in a thick patch of grass and nothing broke, not even a blade

  • wow your luckey, a gust of wind blew mine behind a house and i just slowly brung it down without sight of it. Broke the blades, and the inner shaft.

  • i got one of these. but i broke mine dont know what happened but i was flying then it makes a odd sound and falls. i looked and all the teeth on the gear for the bottom rotor were gone.

  • im sure the blade was broke. i crashed mine once, saw no craks, but when i started it again i heard a weird noise. when i saw again it was a crack there. so maby the same happened to me and you. the blade was damaged from last crash and when u started it it broke

  • do you think that it could hold a digital camera while flying?

  • what camrea did you use????

  • how durable is the cx2?

  • the helecoter its self is very durable, blades need to give away in a crash, if u get one, i recomend getting extra blades

  • i flew mine 9 stories at when i bought it in florida, but there was no win so it was easy

  • im scared to fly mine much less 40 feet in air, it spins outa control when i freak out

  • Priceless! Great video! I'm guessing the wavy quality was due to vibration? Is there any way to mount the camera in a dampener system to mitigate this effect? Also, from what I've read in the posts here, several of us fly these little guys and we would all love to see some footage of the camera itself. What brand is it? Etc. Again... awesome footage! Thanks!

  • lol you a cop? u can spy on people :D lol stay safe man, nice flight

  • Wohhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have the same heli and that had to be an extreamly calm day or else it would of been half way across the neighborgood! What kind of camera did you have on it? Great video!

  • Great vid, awsome copter... what state are you in, it looks beautifull

  • that's a very nice fly with that little heli.. you have good skill

i don't really know how tall is 300ft, but it actually fly quite high already...

where did you get that little cam from? i want to install one on my heli too @_@

  • somehow i dont think you were at 300 hundred feet, not even close, you were high ill give you that, try sticking sum string to it or suming the measure how much it lifted

  • nice flying. enjoyed watching the vid, thanks

  • Nice copper.. err copter!

  • Lame, just lame. Keep shootin for 300 pal.....

  • Yeah, and yours wasn't. Making a comment about my pecker is standard when looking at my copter.

  • its a great vid watched it a couple times let mine up a couple weeks ago and it stayed going, didnt find it till two days later, dont fly if theres any puff of wind anymore

  • Did it go out of range and keep going up? at least you found it.. that would have been an expensive loss.

  • I bet you think your pecker is 12 inches long too! LOL!! That wasn't even close to 300 feet, you might have hit 150.

  • According to your wife, it's 11.5 inches. Thanks for the comment.

  • i didnt know you could measure through a computer screen wow

  • Hey that was great man, nice work.

My best friend has the e-flite Blade CP Pro helicopter...its awesome too...lots of fun.

    That was cool. *****

  • is that a police officer flying that thing?

  • I'd say its hard to tell how high you are with out a altimeter or gps, but I'd say you could of been 2 or 3 tree lengths up, maybe over 200 feet, just a guess from the video, you were there.

  • This isnt even close to 300 feet. Its more like 130-160 feet high. Good fling though.

  • What does that mean?

  • Nice flying! Im getting my Blade cx2 next week, might take it to my local flying club and upgrade it. Fly it higher. Lol. Keep up the good work. :)

  • it doesnt sound like a cx2 at all...

  • nice vjew

  • That looks about 300 feet to me.

  • I saw you dropping pretty fast toward the end there, be careful with this, as the gyroscopic stability of the blades is lower during descent which can quickly lead to blade clash from usually reasonable input, and then its just an expensive falling rock.

Also, putting a piece of foam between the camera and copter should eliminate the image warping.

  • that looks about 100ft, i got 200ft with my mustang onboard cam, sarch channel for 'THE HOD' thats 200ft

  • yea but his heli is about 1/4 of the size of your mate so to be in the same league/ball park you would need to be up at least 600 to 1000 feet at 50meters up with a blade 400 i was pooing it lol

  • is that the "ceiling" of these birds??

i havt tried that altitude yet. i dont want to lose this heli... hehehhe

  • Great flying! That was cool

  • where diud u get the cam?

  • I was wondering the same thing! I gotta get a cam.

  • hi............do u think that the range on the cx could be further?

  • So the pilot is standing at sea level here?

  • cooooooooooooooool

  • LOL belle fin ton video ca mencourage pas a aller lacheter je vais avoir le mien vendredi

  • I cant believe he flew that high let alone outside mine just gets blown by the wind and then speeds up in that direction losing hight until it crashes. I wouldnt dare flying that high, there just too light and unstable outside!

  • BCX2 and Lama v4 are practicly the same but the V4 is cheaper. The Axe EZ(Knockoff)is in now way shape or form better than either of them. I lawl hard at who ever says "my axe ez is so much better". looooooool!

It's amazing the amount of people who just make Assmouth comments when they have no video's of thier "Way Better" RC's them selves...

lol @ them hard for they have no leg to stand on.

Overall cool vids bud, thanks for posting them :)

  • im pretty sure that was 300 feet or more. Nice video.

  • lama v4 kills this

  • Yeah and so does the price....

  • you think so I was gonna get one just because its digital and looks sleek, I got the v3 its okay but the long antenna is impractical inside any ideas?

  • ags911...

Just get a Spektrum radio and reciever and swap out with the stock parts on the v3.

  • my axe ez is so much better

  • This is your second negative response. I am sure if I were stupid enough to spend much more (my CP is NOT carbon fiber) money, then I am SURE I could beat this too. Enjoy the video, appreciate the attempt, or shut up posting.

  • very cool video. but that was deffinately not 300 feet.

  • Brill... new 2.4Ghz radios are likely to trigger a few more stunts like this. I suppose if you've got a live cam feed its a bit like having glass cockpit so who needs orientation trng ha ha !!

  • like how the squad car doubles as a pit table! lol

  • thats good vid.

  • Thats amazing! must have been a really calm day?

  • Which camera and how did you make the coonection to the CX2? My mini cam has a connection for 9v but I know it can probably connected to the CX2 directly.

  • Id sayt more like 150'. I climbed trees for 10 yrs bud, none of those trees were over 100-125 ft. Sorry your altimeter is plain wrong, did you zero it to your altitude first ? Can you ?

    -Grais.

  • Did ya happen to notice that it was way ABOVE the trees?

  • That would put those trees at about 200 feet tall. Those would be some real tall trees. Where do you live? The mountains suggest that you are higher than sea level. That is why your altimeter says 300 feet. Still is a cool video. Thanks

  • 200ft mybe, I dont see 300 anywhere but its hard to tell from the camara angles.

    Cool crash at the end.

  • Altimeter says different

  • its a bird its a plane its my cx2

  • not 300 feet bud

  • altimeter disagrees with ya

  • wow man tht is really high wat kind or cam r u using bec i have a cx 2 and i was wondering if the wireless cam would interfear with the transmitter

  • 300 ft ye right cowboy lol whot you got there son lol

  • is that really 300 ft with stock transmitter and reciever

  • Yes, out of the box and repaired with OEM numerous times before this flight...

  • lol plz not sound next time lol

  • if u think about it he problaby didnt use mods because the regular flight time is 15 minuts and he only flew for 3 minuts and his video camera was poblaby one of those small mini ones that is no more than a pound.

  • It is all stock. The camera weighs 3 oz.

  • that is so cool what did you to get that video

  • how did you get you cx2 to go that high with the stock controler. I barley could get it 100 feet away?

  • What was the video camera you used on your Blade? Plus, did you do any mods to mount it and keep the flight time up with the extra weight?

  • Balance your blades and the video will be smoother.

  • hehehhe, and a nice landing too! Thanks for sharing! :-)

  • Yeah, I work for the Sheriff.

  • Boy! My flying my Syma 9093 Dragonfly to nearly 150' feet pales into insignificance, against this flight. However in all fairness, the Dragonfly is supposed to only have a 30 mtr range, and it is only 2 channel. The CX's are 4 channel, and ultimately have more range (obviously). Nice flying nonetheless.

  • Higher Higher!!!

  • Great flight!!!

    Greetings from Germany

    Frank

  • i liked u vid , nice ending

  • Police surveillance; ha ha.

  • I can see my house from there!! ;-)

  • really? dont be playin

  • Im sure its been asked before, but what camera did you use on your blade cx2?

  • It was simply called a 6 in 1 video cam. I found it on ebay...

  • Wow!, that's what I call "flying high!!". Man, at that hight, it could have been fatal!!

  • nice landing, i was doing the same thing and mine flipped over and crashed into a tree never to be seen again. I will get another one soon but i spent over 350+ in all of the parts. As you can tell in my video when i had to replace the 4-1...regardless i wish you the best of luck with keeping that thing up and running :)

  • ok fella..i did write the comment before the later part of the video and i believe you now i think

    :)

  • I agree with dertuman, at that alttitude you can still see the trees close by. At 300' feet you would see the trees way down there below the helicopter. Someone asked the range of the Blade CX2, from what I remember the CX2 radio has a range of about 350' feet, and yes, if you can see that little helicopter at 350' you're lucky, it doesn't need any more than that anyway it's very small.

  • I had the pines under it cut last week. They were 85 feet tall. Yes, it was indeed 300 feet.

  • Watch the whole video, especially the end...

  • i dont think thats 300 hundred feet, but still very cool

  • I had the pines under it cut last week. They were 85 feet tall. Yes, it was indeed 300 feet.

  • Very nice!

    A few questions for ya:

    -What camera did u use?

-Why did you crash? (no more juice left?)

    and finally,

-My local hobby shop tells me that the range is line-of-sight for the Blade. Meaning that as long as I can see it, I can control it. IS that true? Could it have gone higher than 300ft?

  • What kind of camera are you using??

  • i had mine at about 100 feet + at night & it was never seen again.

  • ive had mine at about the same height

but the wind tipped it over and it came tumbling donw
