We have one of those & it is cute, but my husband programmed it to say some things that are not very nice (LOL), then he forgot to erase the same, and when guests came over one day, it was left on while in the living room.  Let's just say, the bird started spewing some words at the wrong time... very embarrassing moment!!! LOL

That's one expensive cat toy :P. I will buy one soon. I have a cheaper version of this, that was made years ago. I forgot the name of it, but my amazon parrot loves it. It repeats words said, and has animated features similar to Squawkers, but very limited in comparison. I know my parrots would love it. They all imitate each other, so it'd be one way to teach them new things :P.

OMG, I am over 21 and Squawkers is my Furreal friend LOL. I think he is such a riot. He is like a real bird but without the poop. My two small parrots like him two have been talking more now that Squawkers is their competition LOL. The age range says 5 to 105 years old. So true!

What is the range of the remote? Does it need to be in line-of-sight of the parrot? I want to buy this thing and place it on some shelf at the gas station where I work... just to see the customers' reactions. LOL. It would be best if the remote has a decent range so I can control it from the cash register, though.
