Don't forget that Japan contributed to Singapore's later development. Singapore's 1/3 of the land is reclaimed and Japan reclaimed those land with their advanced land reclaim technology. And in the 1990s Japanese companies were the first to come to Singapore and contributed the most to Singapore's development. So if Japanese hadnt helped Singapore, Singapore is not as rich as now.

Do YOUR research before making silly claims. 414 aircraft were used against Pearl Harbour and although these include bombers, I would think the Japs were not stupid enough to sent their entire force out on a gamble.

As stated in my message the number of zeros built numbered 10,00 by the end of the war. I hardly think they were able to manufacture 9500 aircraft in three years given the embargoes and sanctions imposed on it.
I would also like to see the source of your figures. If not, then what you state is utter bull since you plucked it out of the air.

For instance, it reads “At the time of Pearl Harbor 420 Zeros were active in the Pacific.” Jap made 438 Zeroes by the end of November 1941, but lost some 50 of them by various causes from May 1940, and 350 were available on 12/1941. Even if the number had been 420, how were 560 possible over Singapore as you put? It’s beyond my imagination though I enjoy your creativity.

Malaya/Singapore was fought by the Imperial Army Air Force, not by the Navy. 22nd Air Flotilla of IJN was in Saigon, but they had only Betties and Nells. But much of these did not take part in the battles or were sent away. Durban, Danae, Dragon and Mauritius were four of these light cruisers.
