The State has the right to do so. Each state is sovereign and has its own power.

i have schizophrenia, i smoke weed when im all messed up and reeling instead of doing stupid things, then i am calm or at least i dealing with it in my head and it seems nicer instead of dropping a bunch of random stuff in other peoples minds and going around like a dummy getting into wierd situations, its useful like that... i need a reccomendation, and a doctor that has compassion, hard to find in md/dc but itll happen i dont trust the synthetic medicines, and they make me feel horrible

Good points. The problem I see is that the State will legalize it, but Feds still come in and raid. Its a matter of State's Rights in the Constitution. Its happened in California.
