@best17driver Look, i'm only 14 an i can drive an 18 speed. Its actually pretty easy as long as you know what you r doin.....try it once, maybe start out in an old 9 speed, or even a 10, all u do in a 10 is split at the fifth gear and from there u work your way up

I drive in Germany the Mercedes Actros Black Edition.. 612 HP... when i drive solo i start in the 4th gear and than i go to the 7th.... this bring me up to top speed in 5.7 seconds.. in Germany we can go v-max. 90 km/h, but allowed only 80... this sucks... I think the trucks in the u.s. are longer than oure complete Truck... i mean with trailer.. thats cool... i love youre trucks, they look fantastic... 5 stars

You can still miss gears in a 13spd without a problem.

Harder going down the gears though on a steep hill. Actually it's a bitch.

The button on the shifter is hi/low range. Not just 1/2 a gear.

Let me explain the facts OK

With a 1000NM of torque, losing those revs is not a problem. In fact, it helps.

You lose WAY more time hitting every gear. To much "neutral" time and not enough "power" time.

If what YOU say is true, then explain why top fuelers run with only 2 gears over 400m. Or why auto trans is better down 400m. Neutral time is what losers races.

I drive a volvo d11 2009 roughly 350 hp and 1800 tq. When I bobtail I can start in 6th gear and hit 9th immediately after a high rev. Then its a simple shift to 10th, can hit 60 in about 10-12 seconds. Then I just punch it and I would be 10-15 lengths ahead of some one hitting gear. The trucks in this video are WAY more powerful than what I drive. Simply start in a higher gear, you may sputter at first but it will bust out of the hole once with a vengance.

in a bobtail truck, they are so light with major diesel power, you can start out on the high side, usually 6th or 7th gear and they will fly right off the line..no need to start out in 1st or 2nd, just get your rpm's up real high, ride the cluth and drop it in 7th gear and you are gone..neither one of these guys know how to drive a truck very well
