Hello everyone. I playing mk9 1 month ego. I fighing with raiden not bad now. I have learn short combos.

Now i wonna learn full combos. But i have input response speed problem. I think this problem because,

im using joypad not joystick. In one of the raiden's full combo i should used teleport then low punch,

it should works quikly, but in my case i have delay ~= 0.2 second after teleport and cant low punch immediately.

May be i need to use joystick, not joypad.

if you use the 213 the kick will miss and end your combo. only use212 in this situation. although i should point out that if you're using xbox, that combo is dam near impossible. If that is the case. i recommend using the 22 freeze, refreeze, 213 slide. it does 32%, only a little less

i can only pull of a 50% damage with the max damage you mentioned at the end of the video i get 13 hits 50% damage. but thanks for the help i was able to go through ladder on expert with no continues but when i got to shao kahn i lost because i was careless. but one of these days i will get that ladder master trophy. thanks for the strategies i am thinking of using your strategy online they help me improve with sub zero....

1. sub zero's max combo in corner is jip 224 ice ball dash back b12 (b1 should wiff) 214 xray 55%

2. after 22 ice ball if the opponent does not block the b2 will wiff

J1/2, back-1, 2, ice ball~J1/2(jump over them to the other side, 2, 1, 3, ice slide. Better combo... :$ and easier to execute online. You can also do 2, 2 instead of back+1, 2 to make it even easier to mash out. same dammage as what he showed and more practical.

The video itself is self explanatory that he isn't underpowered at all. He's able to chain high and low attacks practically every time and in a corner it's tough as fuck to get out given the example this guy just showed. I think he's overpowered only because of those clones that are always abused and a reset that's very easy to pull off, does about 50% or more damage and only requires one enhanced

I give this guy credit, hes nice with sub-zero. I main Sub-zero and Liu-Kang. I can just never think of good combos to do with these characters but i like them. With Liu-Kang I do this one combo I have yet to see done on youtube or by anyone. I do Y,X,A,AA,X-ray, Bicycle Kick before the guy hits the floor

If you freeze the opponent and do the charge unblockable move and timed just right so when your opponent breaks out you release and hit then do Y,Y, freeze combo can't you do it forever since it's considered as a follow up I did it like 4 times on my friend until I reached the corner

Maybe they changed teh game version, like in the trailer Sub Zero had an ice clone more similar to Cyber Sub Zero, the ex ice puddle is a fool screen one, so its different.

@xXThesticlerXx if you believe that then you dont really understand the game.. 2 2 opens up the door to many more possibilities. for one it is much faster then back 1 2 and is a great opening for a full punish. Also 2 2 is anti air so you opponent cannot jump into or over that string. Another reason it is better is you can cancel into either ice slide, ice freeze or continue the string into 4 then ice clone.... Trust me, 22 is the way to go for sub zero, the extra couple percent you get is crap

how do i avoid scorpion's hell fires? everytime i jump, he would just use the hook or teleport. Most ppl online uses scorpion. And it's rly frustrating.

Advantages:

1) he won't expect it

2) he can't do anything while he's doing he's move, therefore making it almost certain for a hit

3) the hell fire is actually a relatively slow move, and therefore easy to counter, so you're sure to hit that slide

Medina, i'm not sure if you are aware of this, but when doing the unblockable after the freeze you can do it fast IF they keep pressing block, otherwise you don't refreeze them and they fall out. So in a game first time if they don't refreeze they didn't block, you can do it later the second time but if think they can get out by just jumping then. And if you know they will jump you can just do it faster and hit them either way but just don't get full combo. Great if they are low on life.
