Almost no one rates this game on it's own merit. Everyone has to compare it to the first game, and say this one sucks because it's not like the first.

I played Zillion 2 before the first game, it was just my luck. I really liked it. The first one is completely different, and it's definitely good. But really, this one is good too.

I was a bit disappointed by this game as a sequel because it was a straight action game, but, now that I've seen a bit of the anime, I like how it works in the motorcycle suit.

I was so letdown by this game when I bought it back in the day. WAY too short...and Baron Ricks' pattern was WAY too easy.

The first zillion was much better.

I played this game on the computer yesterday i still didn't forgot about zillion 2 back in the days it may be a little disappointing to some gamers but it still fun game to play nowadays.

the music is good. game play is good.game was short i only beat it one time. why one time stupid ass brother started sell our games this was a long time ago yall some time back in 1987. part two cought have been better but i think the katz that made it got tired. just when they were starting to make the right step. its still one of sea's best games.

yes you are right. i use to have this game years ago back in 1986. you can duck in shoot and there was also a code that you could be apple or champ on the flying stages only and could only use them one time each. not to many people know this. ask the other guys ok.

While I also liked #1 better, I liked the sequel almost as much. I beat the original and nearly beat this one.

I remember how much I was anticipating this game because the first Zillion was such a great game. Too bad this one did not even come close.  Still cool to post up though, takes me back to the 80's!

i used to play the 1st zillion game on sega master system, i was like 7 that time, and i finished it, but it took me hours. well, it was the start of everything, and then there came castlevania symmphony of the night and, im playing portrait of ruin now, but i think zillion is where it all began,

Actually it began with Metroid, but the modern castlevanias are a good take on the formula. Super Metroid did it best imo.

This was a big letdown for me after playing the first game and loving it. I like that there's some variety in the enemies though, and the mecha is kinda cool.

Cool! I enjoyed the 2nd game simply cause I loved Zillion, but I agree it was a bit of a downer compared to the first game. (Didn't stop me from playing it till I beat it, though hehe)

Makes me laugh since I hardly remember the games for the Sega Master System, though I'm more aware of Zillion as the anime series the games came from.

What a letdown this was after the brilliant Zillion. I always described the first one as "Impossible Mission meets Metroid". It was so innovative and engaging. This could have been an opportunity to add deeper puzzles and action to the original concept - instead we got this complete waste.

I bought this when it came out and was so, so upset at how bad it was. Back then my parents would buy me a game very rarely and after the first Zillion I thought this would be so good. I remember going to the CompuCenter at Markville Mall in Markham Ontario to purchase it. It was about 50 dollars which of course was a ton to me at the time. Brings back a lot of memories for sure.
