@84heroes1In closing, the music you list contains2 of my favorite bands&more I enjoy&recognize as talented musicians&have some emotional depth 2songwriting-though some bands Rcool enuff2B enjoyed w/o deep lyrics,eg,the Pixies, but theyR very rare.I think you're pretty cool&have a decent taste 4music.Some of the morons I argue w/man you wouldn't believe.I've just been through too much&there's so much great music-I need the emotional depth&variety. No more2bsaid-I like mostof what Udo-I just needmore
@84heroes1 Well you got some pretty lame bands in there-Dinosaur Jr., Smashing Pumpkins, and Oasis-one of the worst bands in History-I like some depth to my music, Like Dramarama, Radiohead, REM, they all are in the same league as the Jayhawks songwriting prwess, but w/ the exception of Radiohead are still far behind it, though they rock more-the Jayhawks rock in their own way-It's your loss for being kinda pigonhold into a certain genre-you're missing so muych good music
@theuncletodd john easdale's acoustic version on his site is pretty great too. i don't know if it's still up or not, but he had a few shows up on there.
no one really understands ... a poster n some magazines and some magic beans and a blanket that I got when I was born.. I deny a problem with my attiude. No one wants to pay me 4 this broken heart, so now I got this shopping cart n I keep on rollin on, n on ,n on ........Yeah gratitude 2 work 4 food. PPl nowadays need 2 realize how good they really have it, especally if mom n dad still love you
@wsperger "Seven minutes (more or less)" is only on their best of, that I know of, but it might be their best. These guys are fantastic. Best band mostpeople have never heard of.
This and The Stranglers' "(Get a) Grip (On Yourself)" are the best songs about trying to male it in music.. And what's popular now? Young Money and that cunt Lady GaGa. Blast you damn kids!
haha that guy at :10 is my dad!! with the checkered vest thingy!!! he said it took like 24 hours to make this. and at one of the breaks he sat next to the drummer and they talked the whole time :D
Form many years, if I had to choose a favorite songs, this was it. Most people, of course, had never heard of it. Dramarama was and is still incredible!

it is one of my all time favorites and I'm almost 40 now and I remember the good all days when i could stay up all night and party like there is no tomorrow , but Now tomorrow has become a fuking job. lol "
Nice to see the boys getting some props. Thanks for the post. Searched for this song for three years. These were pre-Internet years, so it was tough. Bought the album used and it was once of the best CD's I ever had.
I agree. There are some songs you just love the first time you here them. I saw this vid on 120 minutes back in the day. I wrote down on a piece of paper"Dramarama Hi Fi Sci Fi" and when I bought this album I couldn't remember why I wrote that note until I heard this song and thought " oh yeah that's why"
I HAVE LOVED THIS SONG SINCE 1ST TIME I HEARD IT!!!!! Wish a clear recording of "Haven't got a clue" was on YouTube... Load it up somebody, PLEASE!!!!!!!

Great video and stupendous song from the coolest band in the land.
Easdale was an unbelievable vocalist and lyricist and he was backed by a crackerjack band.
This is just one of a boatload of killer tunes in their arsenal.
I highly suggest you stumble from your stupors and pick up the albums "Vinyl" and "Hi-Fi Sci-Fi."
Typical Americans with their heads up their collective asses wouldn't give 'em their due.
