first off, we weren't talking about Gangsta rap, we were talking about OldSchool Rap... huge difference. Gangsta Rap is a subgenre of HipHop alongside Conscious Rap and others, again huge difference. Second, Gangsta Rap also originates from the mid 80's by the likes of Ice-T... became strong in the late 80's with the N.W.A etc...
