  • Esto es una locura, aún no te creo capáz.

  • mirrors wont protect it, sorry. It will make it heat up faster

  • чё за хуйня, ухахах

  • @stimerstimer ????

  • Homeworld Ion Frigate :3

  • I wonder how that laser look in visible light spectrum. Is it invisible like infrared? That would be a bummer, such a waste of nice fireworks.

  • IMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR!!

  • POINT DEFENSE ROBOT!

  • Where can I get one of these to point at the blackboard during lectures?

  • If you paint your missiles with cromed finishing.. what.?¿?

  • And now witness the power of this fully armed and operational battle station.

  • if they miss though that could be hundreds of satalites exploding

  • fuck the russian missiles

  • @TheCaspoe I'm more afraid of yours than russian's. At least they have some brains!

  • '

dont have to show this video,,,

ussr russia / china can copy steal from america

  • @bestamerica steal what? lol, i was almost done working on that project till i found out USA did it, that is so retarded though, cuz the counter strike is a missle full of mirrors :)

I did a prototype of it and i know how this sht works, i just didnt have the powerfull isotopes to create the laser beam

  • @Ronaldoo91 You are full of crap! Isotopes? It's a COIL laser idiot! Carbon Oxygen Iodine Laser. I worked on the YAL-1 Ground Support until I retired. You really have not a clue about any facet of it.

  • It takes so long to take one down you could just send two missiles and the 747s had it.

  • @44bobio It dropped two missiles on the second test night in boost faze. (just off the pad)in the blink of a eye. First one then the other and kept nailing the pieces falling after the kill.

  • if its 2010 then how come its in black and white?

  • @xOneShotSnip It's at night. The colors are Infrared.

  • youtu.be/YYTzeF5wTlc?t=12s

  • Ace Combat 5, anyone?

  • UFO RUN !!!!

  • Man, it seems like Ace Combat 4, if I can remember... I REALLY never thought it'll exist one day, but, look at this: it already exists!

  • It can be passed if missile will have mirror surface and it will spin!

  • I think the X-37B secret mission into orbit is to install these lasers on military satellites...just my guess.

  • yo, we can test this on humans in somalia, when we rape the shit out it! U.S. EMPIRE!!! "

  • It needs to make a noise like pew pew or zap!

  • PEACE

    jsf

  • How many megawatts was it?

  • NOPE, biggest threat to the usa is eurpoe.

  • @ALEX128XD lol china and russia you mean idiot .. EU don't give a fuck about US only the UK and before you say anything i'm from the UK fannyballs.

  • @MrSupremecy No... i'm pretty sure eurpoe is a big threat considering i've never heard of it... Did he mean Europe? lol

  • @stangkillerZ06 He meant Europe but that made me laugh really because most american allies are from EU or maybe eurpoe are aliens o-O

  • Chuck Norris uses this to trim his nose hairs.

  • No Mr. Bond....I expect you to die!

  • @stopstickers You expect me to walk? No, Mr. Bond! I expect you to fly!

  • For those of you that question... It isnt actually taking a long time to heat it up. Notice at the beginning of the video, when it says that 'events are accurate, but not shown in real time'? The vid is in extreme slow motion. All this happened in under a second. If it had taken any longer, you would see the laser track the missile, which is travelling at supersonic speed.

  • I saw that the military is really pushing laser weapon research! by 2025 they're supposed to release the latest in laser tech codenamed "the death star", its a giant space station of sorts that looks like a small moon and fires a super laser capable of destroying entire planets! pretty cool!

  • @Duhello88 As long as they remember to put in a standard two-meter exhaust vent it should go without a hitch.

  • Amerika fuk ya!

  • @TinnInches Go to school! fuk ya!

  • Why does it take so long to destroy the missile? An MTHEL does it much faster?

  • @lkgurmer

Why does it take so long to cook your chicken in the microwave? It takes a while to make something blow up from heat. You have to cook it.

  • my missile is a quantum phased time step guided missile.....appears out of nowhere... renders all laser defense useless.... gee, technology these days... you think you've discovered something then it gets obsolete as soon as you invent it including our invention.

  • Now they need to make an air-to-ground version of it and mount it on an AC130 so we can rain laser DEATH from the skies!

  • WTF AM I WATCHING -GIMME LSD

  • now just make that technology smaller and we can have a laser fight like star wars. PEW PEW PEW

  • I`ll just build a plane covered in mirrors

  • @ieatpeas24

You go ahead and do that.

    Mirrors don't work, idjit.

The laser is the wrong frequency to be reflected by a mirror.

  • @ieatpeas24 That's what I would do.

  • @ieatpeas24 Mirrors have imperfections, none of them are perfect. This would cause them to heat up and expand, causing a rapid degradation of the airframe.

  • @ieatpeas24 lol that may not be a bad idea to have mirrors when the US decides to turn that crap on its citizens.

  • @ieatpeas24

    made my day

  • @ieatpeas24 ahahahah damn ur smart bro . real talk

  • @ieatpeas24 Heat resistant mirrors I hope!

  • @ieatpeas24 -- you and 82 of your friends are retarded

  • @ieatpeas24 u mean missile

  • Comment removed

  • @ieatpeas24 Neah , mirrors don't reflect 100 % , and even if 1% is not reflected , at that power is enough to melt through. You need a plane made of gold , reflects the infrared radiation 100,00 %

  • @ieatpeas24 A 500W laser can cut mirrors. I am sure the military is using a much more powerful laser than 500W.

  • @jayjaykewl727 ITs called the DEATHSTAR -blow up planets real fast !

  • @ieatpeas24 lol

  • @ieatpeas24 the laser would melt the mioors before you landed or could avoid it...

  • SGT. Foley: RAMIREZ!, FIRE THAT LASER!"

    Ramirez: "BLARRGHHHHH!!!!"

  • Not sure if I just watched a weapon system test or a Pink Floyd video.

  • Wow tha lazer should have some major Watts.

  • Wouldn't it be hilarious if a bird flew into this thing while it was firing?

  • @Grey4920 I wonder what it would taste like?

  • Pretty technical piece of equipment. It "shoots" down missiles by targeting the fuel section and basically burning a hole into it or heating it to the point where it explodes. Nothing like launching an ICBM only to have it airbust a few hundred feet above your head.

  • Void Ray irl.

  • @anglkng1

    Its a chemical laser.

Enter Zeus laser and click the first video. Heat Capacity Solid State Laser.....needs energy and cooling, but no chemicals. The ABL is already tech from the past.

    Ever heard of the FEL?

  • The circle is now completed!

  • The circle is now complete!

  • Just think something like this could do many other things god forbid.

  • dave, youèr hurting me dave

  • I'm guessing all these shots are in infrared?

  • I like the way how I freaked out that my new stereos didnt work cuz this didnt have any sound in it.

  • @Counterterrorist154 no your just stupid

  • The beginning of Sienar Fleet Systems.

  • Lazors PEW PEW

  • Pretty!

  • When you are seeing THIS light at the end of the tunnel.. you wouldnt had a choice

  • Chuck Norris grilling hot dogs.

  • Buck Rodgers photo shop

  • The biggest threat to the USA is the USA

    jsf

  • @hotsatsuma2 Negative. Its Germany. They lost two world wars because of US intervention and hinder the US wherever they can. Of course not openly to avoid a third breakdown. Read for example the book Nazi International.

  • @wwwtotalitaerde why is everyone bigging up america seriously : /

america wouldnt of been there if it wasnt for britain.

britain even let america have their independence so they wouldnt moan.

and now on other f35 videos people are saying well done america on the f35b jsf the vertical take off one saying how good the mechanics were but no the technology going into the vertical take off was britain again

  • @olswellmaps After Britain "let" us have our independence, we made the lightbulb while you brits were sitting in the dark. Problem?

  • @BasicEvil18 proooveessss nothing

  • @BasicEvil18 Yea but the English scientist William Gilbert made a study of electricity and magnetism in 1600, distinguishing the lodestone effect from static electricity produced by rubbing amber.. Without electricity no light bulb. Back to square one.

  • @olswellmaps Its also funny that America says to have build the first stealth flying wing. When Germany had already produced and flight tested a stealth flying wing in the end of the world war. It was a German who got the idea of the nuclear energy/weapon. United States brought more than 2.000 german scientists to the states to work on the US missile and space programs after the war. Germany invented the first jet engine. America didn't invent the world, even though they like to think that.

  • @Oevlisen yeye man well added :)

  • @Oevlisen the US is like one big spoiled brat on a trust fund with it's parents dead and buried.

  • @olswellmaps And the US even bought the Harrier. But then, size has to be considered. 60 m british citizens is far less than 310 m US citizens. If the US builds 10 different jet fighters one would expect the UK to build about 2. If the US operates 20 submarines, one would expect the UK to run 4.

  • @hotsatsuma2 dont you mean the old republic, soon to be the galactic empire

  • Seens like the Death Star turned into a 747 just for the sake of yelling IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZURS!!!!

  • i say F the DOD and u can B low me

  • You can toast your stepmother even before she get in town with that, or simply zap out the yapping neighborg dog

    Dear Santa......

  • Imma firin ma lazzaar!!

  • Dragonballz laser episode

  • this is the laser they used on 011

    see my 911 laser vid

  • Theres one thing that wonders me.. Why that laser is not going thru that object after it has been destroyed?

  • @Randomnick123 its a concentration of light and energy, and while it can destroy the ship, it cant just pass through it. It still has the same limitations of light, but after the ship is destroyed by the laser, it will go through it and last as long as they can keep the light concentrated and have the power to keep it going.

  • @tenbrion123

Doesent seem to go thru that object after it has been eliminated

  • @Randomnick123 It's an IR laser designed to heat it up to the point of exploding, it doesn't cut straight through it. All the material that was there before the explosion is essentially still there, it's just inert.

  • Wow... A cartoon laser beam... Amazing.

  • @jbondfl007 bitches dont know bout infrared cameras

  • @jbondfl007 This is real the navy's thinking about putting them on their ships to take down aircraft

  • Wow... A cartoon laser beam... Amazing.

  • We need to implement these laser systems off the coast of Somalia and exterminate those pirates as soon as possible.

  • this will be handy in deactivating nuclear missles taht are fired at you

  • Didn't know youtube had so many "rocket scientists" viewers...

  • In retort to all the idiots saying strength in numbers. The reason your logic is absolutely terrible, is that yes its cheap, but you don't see American fighter pilots or UN forces running around in wooden propeller planes because Jet Fighters are too expensive. I don't think outdated technology wins because its cheap anymore. Ill be one of the ten guys with an LMG anyday if you told me 300 people with cheap bows and arrows are going to run at me anyday.

    I enjoy your comments though.

  • fake.....

  • @hibbs925 Lol, no, troll. xD

  • @Pilkingtube hey you can think its real if you like.... ithink its fake.

  • IMA FIRIN MA LAZAR

  • right, now put that frickin laser on a shark

  • Goku Is FIGHTING TO SAFE OR PLANET GUYS !

  • So... WTC7...

  • This doesnt show nothing but purdy colors and lights. wtf?

  • @SIX1NINEKING

It's thermographic imaging (seeing heat displayed as a spectrum of colors). If it was just standard video, you wouldn't see anything at all save for the final destruction of the test object.

  • whwn i was a kid in the nineties,an emminent physicist said it would take generations before lasers can be useful militarily.Morality of the story: you cannot really predict the future of technology. IT could be AI in a few years, walking robots on construction sites...you name it. be wild in your dreams (or nightmares).anything is becoming possible nowadays.

  • @jeetendrag10acc2

Soo true. Look at 2001 : Space Odyssey Nearly 70% of the stuff shown does exists today except for space travel and Pan AM Airways etc :(

  • Taliban: Our ak-47's are extremely powerful and accur-IMA FIRIN MAH LAZAAA BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM - Navy

  • Obi-Wan: I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

  • if anyone from the nazi party comes to get the gps co-ordinates of your front door, you know what to tell them.

    research drones

    space based laser weapons

    star wars project

  • missile at 0:30 looks like a penis

  • "PRI-VATE! CHARGE YOUR LAZAH!"

    "IMMA CHARGIN MAH LAZAH, SIR!"

  • @DarthJac0bus

    SHOOP DA WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!

  • @freemanbrook That worked in The Matrix.

  • Anyone who thinks the U.S. doesnt have these kind of directed energy weapons is lying to themselves. The U.S. has this and more. Beams that can cause pain and burning without even harming the flesh. Z.E.U.S. can be mounted on a HUMVEE and has already been deployed to Afghanistan. I'm a U.S. citizen and I'm afraid of how powerful these weapons are. There is no defense against this weapon. The laser can shoot down any missle fired at the plane itself. Imagine hundreds of these planes lazing a city.

  • It will still take a very loooooong time to develop real powerful lasers known from the movies :P

  • correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Free Electron Laser (FEL) is going to be the winner. Uses electrons at near the speed of light similar to that around a "black hole" (even though I don't believe in black holes). And it requires no chemicals, just elecricity. Any thoughts?

  • @genogeno1234 You don't believe in black holes? Can you elaborate?

  • @genogeno1234 Out of curiosity, will the radiation effect anybody nearby? I understand it's not really ionizing and after a little research on it it can help within cases, but sounds pretty stupid but I would think it would be possible to basically concentrate an electronic pulse and with an overload of energy, energy withdraws correct me if I'm wrong but it's pretty basic, if you get a lot of electric in something it stops ( EMP ) Why not develop a non nuclear PORTABLE EMP? So much easier.

  • The US Airforce can finally say: IMA CHARGINN MAH LAZR!!!

  • what is happening?

  • This thing also did your mum BTW

  • Chuck norris comments are so lame.

  • Chuck Norris would just have to look at the missile to destroy it.

  • Iomtura

Actually no it it can't. The defense mechanism creates a stream of highly energized particles that either detonate the missiles warhead or disrupts it's flight path. What you saw was just a thermal imaging camera showing the heated particles.

  • this thing can slice a man in half BTW

  • @lomtura This thing can also destroy a missile BTW

  • @BinaryDinostar This thing can also obliterate a mosquito BTW

  • Id shoot missile disco balls

  • I wound built a Stealth Missile, so it cant detect or destory it

  • ha ha i launch missile with mirrors ha ha. why not just use tin foil?only think that would deflect enough energy would be silver nitrate, or a nutrino energy feild.=D

silly humans, lasers are for cyborgs and aliens only.

  • I'll be sure to not make a regular missile and instead a kinetic missile

  • @KroniclyHigh It will still blow up or at least destroy the navigation systems.

Or destroy the engines or melt something else important.

You're fucked either way if you're a ballistic missile.

  • @shadowblade145 well then Ill launch a barrage of 10 cheap homemade rockets one at a time with no payload to exhaust the laser, being chemical it only has a limited mount of shots in it each one costing a hundred thousand dollars, then the real missile will come flying at it.

  • @KroniclyHigh Then I'll...

Stop shooting the laser and just accept oblivion xD

  • guys its a joke fuckkkkk your all taking it so serious gtfo your ass's and get a life instead of being total jerks about that guys joke jeez

  • @mrimjustpure21

Some people like science, and like to discuss it.

But yes, I'm sure people who make these lasers know what they're doing, and have considered the most basic idea of mirrors.

  • this vid sucks

  • *generic mirror comment*

  • suicide bombers do not need mirrors

  • Haha i love how serious people are taking the mirrors comment.

  • You should see the ground based version.

  • ...And when i said "theres Ufo's in the sky!!!" nobody listened to me! See what im talking about!

  • It's a bit like the Star Blazers Yamato / Argo wave motion gun.

  • This weapon doesn't need to be anywhere near a battlefield. It can operate from 100's of miles away. It's only purpose is to wait for a ballistic missile launch.

Honestly, the lack of knowledge and disrespect to the ONLY military superpower, is really boggling.

  • Its a Kamehameha
