  • whats the white fish?

  • I like your tank but do you want to make your turtle tank more beautiful and have a nice playground for them to enjoy look at my video turtles and koi fish are haveing so much fun in my gravity aquarium

  • Nice set up, I have 4 turtles. A yellow belly slider, a mexican ornate slider, a mississippa map turtle and a Florida Soft shell. gonna get a 160g tank

  • Where did you get the glass stairs set up?

  • @linley616 i ordered my aquarium man to fabricate this idea of glass stairs ..he carved it perfectly ...no sharp edges at all... turtles enjoy basking on the glass at the top.

  • omg! i luv that! its super cute! glass stairs WTH?!?! luv it!!!!

  • wut is tht grass

  • Its a great looking tank. I'm still trying to figure out why you have audio and yet you remain the silent man for the whole video and instead choose to point :P

I have a 15 Gallon tank I'm not using at the moment. Does anyone know how long 2 musk turtles would be able to live in it? I was thinking a couple years and then upgrade to a bigger one?

  • @Kopite91LFC have a bigger tank . it would be nice.

  • @ytube1990 I'm thinking Map Turtles instead. I know 20 Gallons is very small for them but It would be ok for 2 of them as babies wouldn't it? I mean its better than the condition most fish shops have them in :)

I would move them to a much bigger one when the times comes though.

  • how do you make the stairs? :)

  • @RFDPPproductions its glass , carved specially so that it doesn't have any sharp edges.

it is made like a stairway to the basking area.

  • how did u make the stair?

  • Sweet ass setup! I've read for every inch of turtle u need 10 gals of water but I don't Blame u. I have 5 RES in a 30. Upgrading asap!!! What are the steps? Love the glass idea but I prefer the natural habitat for mine. I'll have vids up soon! Save the RED EAR SLIDER!!!!

  • @dreros3030 awww..thank you !

ya there are many theoretical things which have spoiled our brains . These only make money for aquarium shopkeepers. its true that you require a bigger tank as turtle gets bigger in size . this discussion has many points to be included, anyways , i'll answer your question first.

the stairs are glass steps which doesn't have sharp edges .these are just to look good . also turtles climb up using these stairs . they also lie on the stairs and sleep.

    :)

  • @ytube1990 Well, considering these turtles live in huge ponds in the wild, 10 gallons per inch is a very small amount to begin with. Although babies (like the ones in this video) would be fine in less than 10 gallons per inch, a full grown one would need at minimum 60 gallons EACH turtle

  • @dreros3030 lol based on that theory, you're going to eventually need 650 gallons for your group! xD

  • what type of turtle do you have like what are they called?

  • @AyeeNess Red eared slider

  • haha

  • thats a good size for him when he get bigger get him a big tank.

  • @majesta199 ya . new video is uploaded.

  • what type of plants do have n your tank

  • nice tank.. what did u use for the corner suports for the basking area?

  • @my2004mach1

    it is glass only.

but it doesn't have sharp edges .

  • the glass can hurt them but nice tank

  • @nerfmanreptile321

no.... the glass has been carved in such a way that it doesn't have any sharp edges.

  • Nice tank. I've always wanted a planted tank for my turtle. :)

  • @redearedslider1 thanks dear.

    go for it !

  • @ytube1990 hey ever think to add guppies or feeder fish that are small so your turtles can eat them n chase them for excersize.......

  • @4sm0ke2guam0

    umm..ya i've done this once. :)

  • @redearedslider1

hmm...you can do it...but artificial plants would be better.

  • nice bro...

  • @SuperAlexlazo thanks bro

  • i really like the grass idea,

    the tank looks really good

  • @lovelylesly1 in their bedrooms

  • @overainbows

friend..when turtles are small they are least aggressive towards other fishes...as they grow big..they start to become more aggressive and attack the other fishes ( they even eat them when they get a chance)

so it depends on their conduct and response towards the other members of the tank.

  • @ytube1990 Hey friend, one of my turtles ate a fish today! They finally figured out what they were for. lol Thanks for the response.

  • @overainbows haha..now they will try to eat the other small fishes (if you have them in tank )

  • dude dont use glass they will cut them selves, r u stupid lol u use glass with a pebble coat or a foam bass, what an idiot lol

  • @tom3999 what the tank is amazing your the idiot

  • @tom3999

don't make blind guesses about the happenings inside the tank u fool . it is not sharp glass edges...it has been carved specially keeping all of the moves of turtles in the mind...how can u even think about cut and all such stuff.

  • how do you keep your african cichlids from eating those red eye tetras????

  • @hotdog8000

they are not aggressive.. i haven't observed any aggressive activity from them..the only threat is from the turtles...they are growing bigger...and they are often after the little fishes...

  • I like ur tank
