I played wow for 2 years? It was fun but Wotlk was a fail... Tested Aion was fun to start with but the grindning made the gameplay pretty lame. Good graphics bad gameplay... Some guys like wow some Aion but i think that both games are pretty lame.
@bearwolfz Did u ever play it? I played wow on tbc and arena wasn't better than aion arena! U must play it before talk. I'm a lvl 50 chanter and when we do 6 vs 6 (or more too) it is so cool (those ar low lvls). Try to put lvl 20 characters in WoW arena.

the Final Fantasy online games are a piece of shit even compared to WoW, i cant see why anyone would waste their money on paying $1 for every additional character which will just be used for storage for your mains gear cause every race can be every class. so Final Fantasy becomes very expensive compared to other online games.

My fucking god. The main problem I see with MMO's these days, is because of WoW and it's easy mode (The whole fucking game) You've got childern all over the internet now. Defending games that suck, making biased comments and such, because the front lobe of their brain has developed. The lack of common sence makes it just annoying as fuck to even say "Hey this game looks great!" You'll get a child who will say "ZOMG WOW DIS CUPPIES WOW!"... Seriously, all for a petition to make the internet 16+?
besides the abillity to be ganked anywhere after lvl 20 makes aion even more hardcore to deal with.
i know there is pvp servers in wow and such too (although really porly made with the system as it is), but a game that caders around a pvpve inviroment where there is no "pve" only zones and the skill lvl of the player needs to be way up there to even consider competing in pvp, not anything like wow.
have playid as good as every mmo out there, and aion seems too have a Very high difficulty lvl.
Why does everything have to be like 'WoW' for people? The majority of WoW players have been so dick smacked by their game that they want every other game to be just like it. The animation and combo system in Aion is by far the best I have ever seen in any MMO, fully overthrowing WoWs 5 year old junk that for some reason people actually still say it 'has good graphics' when it clearly is behind.
Well surprisingly enough I know a lot of people with low-end computers that are running aion right now so, yea your theory is kind of out the window and almost every pc gamer has the mind to upgrade the computer eventually.

Asherno's Call was one of the best games ever, i wish they remake it with better graphics. with over 100 patches over the years it has alot more content that you can think, and every quest is pretty much a raid, small or big.

Think develeopers wise. Aion was in developement process over 3 years. Dont you think people who worked on game wanted to spent other 3 years to do the game ? Just to clarify, Warcraft was released before Lineage, Warcraft came out in 1994 and lineage in 1998, then Lineage 2 came out round 2003/4 and then WoW came out a few months later.

This is world pvp not just arenas. Most classes do not have healing skills, just the healers do. =P

just buy the game in pre release you will be able to participate in the closed beta the next beta testing is this weekend if i am right this will be the second time i will try this game and from what i've seen now this'll be a pretty good game! until finalfantasy XIV comes up in 2010 ^^

My fucking god. The main problem I see with MMO's these days, is because of WoW and it's easy mode (The whole fucking game) You've got childern all over the internet now. Defending games that suck, making biased comments and such, because the front lobe of their brain has developed. The lack of common sence makes it just annoying as fuck to even say "Hey this game looks great!" You'll get a child who will say "ZOMG WOW DIS CUPPIES WOW!"... Seriously, all for a petition to make the internet 16+?

besides the abillity to be ganked anywhere after lvl 20 makes aion even more hardcore to deal with.
i know there is pvp servers in wow and such too (although really porly made with the system as it is), but a game that caders around a pvpve inviroment where there is no "pve" only zones and the skill lvl of the player needs to be way up there to even consider competing in pvp, not anything like wow.
have playid as good as every mmo out there, and aion seems too have a Very high difficulty lvl.

Why does everything have to be like 'WoW' for people? The majority of WoW players have been so dick smacked by their game that they want every other game to be just like it. The animation and combo system in Aion is by far the best I have ever seen in any MMO, fully overthrowing WoWs 5 year old junk that for some reason people actually still say it 'has good graphics' when it clearly is behind.

very true, this video DEFINITELY does not this game justice.i have seen closed beta for America and its EXTREMELY better graphics and the gameplay and smoothness of the game has also been improved. better than wow no question. And i can say that it is better than wow because i have cleared ulduar and done algalon.

I've played wow since the day of release and I'm interested in playing Aion myself. Not sure what all the hate is about. It DOESN'T look like a wow clone and that's the first step to success, as clones are simply drowned in wows success.

stick to ur free-to-play graphix like WoW. we dont need u in aion in fact we dont want fanboys to switch to aion coz they will ruin it. and WoW admins are horrid. i purchased the game then the next day i played for like 4 hours and the game froze for like 15 secs, get disconnected and when im trying to logg in it says im banned.admin said i had multiple client rofl how u supposed to have 2 client if u dont know anything bout the game yet so i uninstall it..then returned it to ebgames

Asherno's Call was one of the best games ever, i wish they remake it with better graphics. with over 100 patches over the years it has alot more content that you can think, and every quest is pretty much a raid, small or big.

actually it is more like comparing a farai to a punto (sry if it is mis spelled).
the two games just appeals too two different groups of people, while wow is extremely easy to start in at and very easy to comprehend and play at max lvl, even in pvp it is quite easy to figure everything out (which makes it a easy to play and understand for every one), aion is in the complete oppesite direction, 8+consumeble's 15+ skills too know exactly when and how too use makes it a extremely hardcore pvp game

Think develeopers wise. Aion was in developement process over 3 years. Dont you think people who worked on game wanted to spent other 3 years to do the game ? My guess is they made contracts with devs of other games so all those who made wow, l2 and so on helped developing aion. I dought these days companies spend miliards of dollars to make 1 stupid game. Aion is based on engine, like all other games are.

Just to clarify, Warcraft was released before Lineage, Warcraft came out in 1994 and lineage in 1998, then Lineage 2 came out round 2003/4 and then WoW came out a few months later.

Not only the sides.. I've played wow and i didn't like it... i've played the aion beta loved it... the npcs and quests are very very similar, same with the layout of the worlds, and the teleporting thing.. dosn't matter though cause you need a template.. and aion just does it better then WoW.
