hey kyle, was wondering if i could ask you a quick question. Im trying to learn this song right now on the p155, i was wondering when you let go of the sustain pedal while playing the fast chords? I am trying to let go every two chords (eg C Eb G Ab C G pedal, etc) but the low notes still seem to get muddled. thanks!

@destryx you play with it's own speakers or you use headphones? It seems like p155's own speakers aren't very great, I find that it sounds alot better when using headphones or recording to your pc for example then fixing it with audacity or something similar. So not necessarily a problem with how you play =p

I've been trying to play this song. My progress so far is the first 30 seconds, but I need to work on the tempo. I've looked at the sheets, this vid, and synthesia whenever I don't feel confident.

I'm more or less an intermediate, but I've always tried to push myself to play songs I want to play (this just happens to be one on my list). I was wondering how long it took you to play this song so finely?

Sadly my keyboard lacks a few octaves so it can't play the low notes. (Unless I transpose it)

Well, how I most of the times unconsciously learn the songs is by memorizing them - that way I can play pretty much as fast as I want / it's possible for my body..

Though your fingers also have to be used to the speed of course. If you always play very slowly it'll be hard in the beginning playing faster -> All you need is practice ;)

@brokensilence51 in order to play this fast all you have to do is start slow till u can play the whole peice at a slow tempo and work your way up it might take 2 months but if ur committed you'll do it thats what real musicians do. use a metronome

@Moddance19 Totally disagree, starting slow and moving up is a great way to hit speed walls. Start of playing hands separate, even one bar at a time or smaller if necessary. Then put them together as close to written tempo as possible and work up from there.

If I am not mistaken he took this piece from a collection and then added his own touches throughout. If you hear the original you'll notice its almost an entirely different song.
