I love X Japan but this video could have been so much better, it was a let down of poor post production choices and an injection of egotism. Haters gonna hate.
I was with thousands of kids, many with their hair dyed pink like our idol's HIDE, swarming a Tokyo temple that horrible Thursday. This pain went in my stomach. I couldn't go more. I did wrap my arms around my knees my stomach hurt so much from crying. My hair and face wet from my tears and red dye mixed with tears all over my white blouse. Suddenly my eyes saw there was brighter crimson red. It wasn't me. The girl near me killed herself.
@soYoshiki yes, those new songs doesnt even sound X-Japan at all, no wonder taiji sawada left the band. miss the X days with albums like vanishing vision and jealousy, those were their peak days.

I love Yoshiki for keeping the bands spirits so high and continuing XJapans legacy for as long as he can. It makes me feel like hide-sama is still with us and even Taiji Sawada, their souls live on through Yoshiki's music.

I'm a huge X fan but I'm truly disappointed. This song sounds just like I.V., I mean, I wanted to love it but talk about originality. Did Yoshiki run out of ideas? He used to make extraordinary songs like Rose of Pain, Rusty Nail, Forever Love, Crucify My Love... Did he lose his soul after Hide's gone? i still love X, I just wish that the reunion isn't just about money, but about the continuation of the X legend.
@htsea: Only Jade is officially announced to be on upcoming album. If so, there is plenty of room for diffirent sounds and styles. I doubt Yoshiki would put several very similar songs on one album.
PS. I doubt it but I still hope they would rerecord Standing Sex for this or next album.
@htsea Get over it!!!, seriously, PLEAAAAAASE!!!!!!!!!!!!, keep this in mind: although Yoshiki had been always the one that composed the songs and lyrics, remember that hide ( and also Taiji in the older days ) was the one that made all the arregenments and the solos, that's why it's sounds different now, but nevertheless, it's not in ANY way a song that can't be compared to any other one
@DaenThunderKnight Change is good. The Universe is changing at an alarmingly accelerated rate. We have our old songs to listen to and we have new songs done a new way. X has always been known to use the best of concert technology. Technology is changing daily and taking advantage of new ways to produce music with a whole new sound is X keeping up! Hello.. I'm kinda new to japanese music. Could someone name some bands I should know about? I've listened to X Japan, Dir En Grey, Malice Mizer and Versailles. Luna Sea too, but I don't really like them..yet :) You know, it's harder to discover japanese bands than american and european :(

SUGIZO-style guitar is so LOOOOOVE!!! 8D I'm so happy, I feel like he's finally starting to really find his place (guitar-wise, the violin/piano stuff was already brilliant) in this band!

As a musician, I can say that song is very similar to I.V. But I LOVE it anyway.
This band is evolving and going through such a big change since they came to the US. But I admit that I like their new style. And I am really impressed of Heath nowdays. I also accept and love Sugizo, even if I miss hide.
X Japan will never disappoint me. The best band ever.

Every time I see something new of theirs I feel like I go back in time to the time I first discovered them. I stare starry eyed and in awe at the screen and just feel the music and the lyrics, their music tends to make me very emotional. God I love X

Every time I see something new of theirs I feel like I go back in time to the time I first discovered them. I stare starry eyed and in awe at the screen and just feel the music and the lyrics, their music tends to make me very emotional. God I love X
