i play hockey at a high level and i dont see this prospect going far. he doesnt stay on his own wing and he has no take off speed . I dont no wut they see in him because i could name tons of players his age never drafted with better hands and speed?
Seriously??? What level do you play at? this kid was one of if not the fastest players in the ushl last year. he looks pretty damn fast in this video buddy. try defending him. he's amazing one on one
Kristo has dynamite speed, watch him for team USA this winter at the WJC. This is just a clip to give people a chance to see the player. This is not a highlight vid showcasing his abilities...
why is he trying to play everyone elses position, he looks ok i don't think he is as good as some of the other draft picks, i prefer Maxim Trunev, great hands, great shot, very fast, look him up.
Very neat. I got the opportunity to skate with him a couple times our freshman year during captains practice and such. Obviously he played varsity and I didn't, so I don't remember much about him other than he had a lightening quick shot and he could put it on a penny. Very tough to stop.
@corunguneee yaaa either that or im fucking right imean almost everyone in canada plays hockey, hockey is like the 4th biggest sport in sweden, and still we're not that far behind so.. shadaaaap look at zetterberg forsberg the sedins lidstrom for example..
@gustavalmius Kristo is a good hockey player we'll see in next years if he's good enough to play in the NHL and if not, we will send it to you so he could play in those "elite leagues (LOL)" with all the as beens.
@gustavalmius lol your a retard if you played agaisnt a team here in canada of 15 year olds youd get destroyed and north american hockey is surperior to your shitty european style look who won the juniors and the olympics
@SacredGrave thats because it was played on small rinks, who won in 06 when theolympics were played on a big rink? hmhmhmh ok, i've faced both northamerican and european opponents and i can tell that europeans are WAAY better in passing and hockeysense northamericans just dump the puck and skate as fast as they can, and they fucking sucked, but theres a few good canadians in the nhl though, i really like crosby for example...
@SacredGrave yaa i like the players that can combine both styles like ovechkin and crosby, crosby because he's a playmaker but really good in tight situations in the corners and so on... i don't like it when he wines and dives though...
On top of that he's right handed, this kid is very important for the habs organisation, can't wait to see him sign his first professional contract and play with Paccioretty. He's gonna have to get bigger though, although scouts say he's very strong for his size. The future looks bright!
Above average skating skills, has an explosive first strides, can carry the puck at high speeds, very good passer, he can burry the puck and finish plays. Has a good release good hockey sense overall. He's always well positioned will be an excellent pp player. Doesnt look for the big hits but doesnt shy away from physical contact and hes not affraid to go through traffic.
The kid can skate.Seems like a playmaker rather than a shoot first mentality. If he can get up to 190 lbs or better and stay there he could be a serious prospect.
Thanks for posting the Habs draft pick. He looks like a talented skater and has a great desire to head to the net and backcheck! a great two way player the Habs will depend on in the future. any comments on Danny?

they say that he is not the biggest, but damn he sure plays big, solid guy, decent puck skills, tons of speed.

I like him, he's got good speed, he likes to jump into the play, he's got a great shot, and he's really good with and without the puck(smart).
