•I am using a 18 inch Zildjian "A" Custom cymbal. It is an AWESOME cymbal, however I recently cracked it...

•I have been playing for around 9 years solid now, however only the last 5 or 6 have I taken it seriously. The drum set is a Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute, with a mix of different cymbals. It sounds very nice live, however it sounds even better mic'd up.

I dig this song man the singer really gets lost in the song somehow and his voice doesnt sound "gay" its a different register and all together a unique style. All the music comes together to make something melodic and progressive and the band has a very awesome way of bringing their ideas together in such a fluent way they have totall lived up to their latin accurate name, "sound." i don't see how this music could be called gay.

Noone of us got only 1/2 of his talent and cant play the Grooves that Groovy like he do.....

Everyone talks so much shit about this specific, Mr. Atkinson, however most of you don't have 1/2 of his talent level and absolutely none of his teaching ability. Don't watch a FREE drum LESSON, and complain that it's too simple or you're an astronomical amount better. These are fallacies, EVERYONE watching this videos is not up to par with this man or any man they bring on this channel. the bottom of a shoe is pretty solid which makes it harder for your toes to move (and help with the kick). With shoes on you have to move fast with your anckle. With only socks you are as free as a bird, it feels easier too.

@viperstevo i understand where your coming from but try this. get a pair of slip ons(i use vans) wear them out so bad use duct tape to hold them together you get no traction for sliding and theirs no pressure on your foot so its like being in socks or barefoot.
