you can change the skin of many objects when you buy them. it's not that hard... just click the object from the buy menu and the "menu" will appear. you can make your custom colors too.

you can't GET glitches they just happen to make that one happen you just pause the game so when the guitar is in the girl/guy's hand take it and then replace it on a different hand. XD i love that glitch it acctually got me EXTRA tips LOL now my sim is a famous guitarist!

put the guitar in the invetory then when on a community lot make them perform or playing for tips means you'll get money for it,

Ok first click on your inventory then drag the guitar into it

make your sim go to the park and open your inventory again

click on the guitar --> play, and there you go! :)

Tips: You can only play for money when u improve the skill

as i recall it should be level 4 if not mistaken, and there are other things u could do too :) enjoy exploring the skill

My sim just started doing this. It happened at a community lot, I forgot and opened the build menu, went back into live mode and the guitar was gone but not in his inventory so I bought a new guitar and tried again but it still glitched so...I need to try something else. It's annoying!

I just got this. On mine I learned a song on guitar, then the guitar disappeared, so I bought a new one and now when you play it, this happens.

i tried to remove the guitar from inventory and delete it and then replacing it with another one but it still happens...there is another glitch when the guitar remains stuck in the body of the sim. then i put moveobjects on and remove the guitar.

The guitar didn't all spaz out on me, but it is stuck to me. I just had fun with it! ^^ (cooking, take a bath,etc) I tried clicking on it, but it's like it's not even there. Not in inventory or anything. Any idea how to get it off??

I managed to get rid of mine. My sim went to school and when he came back the first guitar (the one that disappeared) was stuck to my body so I turned moveobjects on and got rid of it and now he plays the other guitar normally. If you want to get rid of the guitar that's stuck to your sim, press ctrl+shift+c to bring up the cheats thing and type in moveobjects on. You should be able to pick it up and get rid of it then.

I found that solution not long after coming across this video (because I was looking for one), but it doesn't work, at least not for me. I know I'm doing it right according to you and others, but, after I do all that, it won't select the guitar stuck on my sim. I've tried it time and time again, restarted the game and my computer a handful of times, yet there it stays. It won't select the guitar on my sim at all.

What do you mean by "I can't select the guitar on my sim"? You mean you can't remove it when using the 'moveobjects on' cheat or do you mean you're trying to play on that guitar after removing it? Just to be clear I removed the guitar that was stuck to my sim and sold it, my sim now has a new guitar that he can play normally.

I could not select it using the cheat for the life of me. It kept saying "No Interactions Available" or something like that.

You go on the buy or build menu and use the hand grabber tool to grab it and sell it, you can't select it in-game.
