i will never trust motorola ever again. i bought the cliq 1 and it was horrible. it freezes, it's slow (about 6 seconds to load each screen), and the producers are not making firmware for it to fix anything. i only had it for a year. im not a iphone fan boy but some manufactures don't care enough to keep a brand/product alive. if it fails then they make a new item with a new name. i hate my phone enough to search this, log in, and write this

I think people from Phonedog should think about people who can't really afford the high end phones. To you the Motorola Cliq might be not a great phone. But to me it would be a high end phone.

@beebeexdee hey i had this phone for a few days before i had to give it back to my friend, as long as you get it locked you can use it for att, but if you are from tmobile you wont have a problem.im not to sure what you mean with motoblur, bu motoblur is free you make an account when you turn the phone or you can go to motorola.com and make an account.

G1 is okay but it's going to be out of date very soon (they're not getting anymore updates and no more support from the manufacturer)

Blackberry has well documented issues. If you're business oriented I would suggest this one first as it's more professional.

Otherwise, get a cliq. I've had one for 2 months, no problems and I loved it. Plus, the wifi!

it's just a notification light, whenever the user has a notification it'll blink until it's addressed. I think you can turn it off from settings though.

u can set the happenings stuff to update every so often.. if u have rit set to every 15 minutes, then yeah, itll drain the battery.. but i wuld probably set it to like evry hour or so.. unless u r addicted 2 social networking sites.. i dont care abt the bulkiness of it.. i have a g1, which is said 2 be heavier than the cliq.. im probably gettin this fone 2day..

If you're in a 3G area, it's just part of the phone service. It's Data that ur worried about. All Android Phones Require Internet To function. Therefore data plans are needed. 35$ per month unlimited. Android phones like the cliq are Smart Phones. Sidekicks are messenger phones so it's abig step up.

There is nothing wrong with their network at all. I have used all of the major carriers in the US and I have concluded that T-Mobile's 1900mhz GSM has the best sound quality and their 1700/2100mhz 3G network is fast enough for browsing and streaming. I even tethered my laptop to my Cliq and I was hitting 2.8-3.2mb/sec on average! The coverage works just fine for me and I live in a small town that even has 3G. DeutchTelekom has over 120mil subs! Just dont beleve everything that you watch on TV!
