@rosskstar Is that the best insult you can come up with you pathetic little child, lol, your so funny but really i should not mock your ignorance it is typical of little kids like you that think you know it all but know fuck all.
I only just got into Deep Purple... listening to this makes me seriously wonder what's happened to music in the last couple of decades. The music of today has no solos, no passion, no real singing. All you get is heavily autotuned noise and lots of it - and I mean regardless of the genre. Please give us back real music.
When I hear this track I get a massive feeling of nostalgia. This will never leave my ipod. I am 62 but drop to 22 when I hear it. Its like a time machine,
@leunamme888 True this line up did so amazing albums and they had a courage to do anything, I love their "spanish" organ and guitar parts, also producing on their album is great, I like echoes and not too clean sound.
I agree obe...Gillian is a great guy and has a wonderful voice however Rod Evans has a deep voice that has a very moody tone to it -one of my favorite vocalists

Anyone reckon this great number inspired Thin Lizzy's track, Johnny the Fox Meets Jimmy the Weed? Simper's best bassline...

guitar works perfectly, it's sad that early Deep Purple isn't appreciated the way it should be.

The early Purple were smashing. Ahead of their time. April, Hey Joe, Kentucky Woman, River Deep Mountain High. Great.
