Mark Kelly was still the bass player in 86. We was there through "This Means War" in 87. Ronnie Cates joined the band in 88. Schlitt's first show with the band was in February of 86.

I remember my mom dragged me to one their stupid concerts when I was a kid. I fell asleep. Christian rock and (ahem) rap are frickin lame. lame lame lame
I would almost guarantee it was the lack of lighting causing him to start it one fret too high. When he played the open G string (the riff is in G), I think he realized immediately he was off... funny, and I'm glad I'm not the only guitar player that makes mistakes. If Bob does, too, then I feel great!... :-)

Mark Kelly on bass and Greg X. Volts (Voltz?) was lead vocalist.

@BreadSham This was John Schlitt, not Greg X. Volz.

Petra was the first concert I ever went to. It was the last tour that Greg X. Volz did before he left the group. Thanks for putting this up
